Labor Day 202;

Gorgeous, relaxing property with ample dock space convenient to the boat ramp. The Homosassa River is a short ride away and the springs are beautiful. There is a great restaurant scene on the river. Bring your boat and enjoy!!

Was amazing

I normally don’t write reviews but this one deserves it. The host was amazing from start to finish. The location was perfect. Boat ramp was on the next street over. Plenty of room for boats to dock. The outside of the house was magical from the brick to the plants was beautiful. The inside of the house was great plenty of room to sleep, hangout would definitely be back. We loved it.

Beautiful place with great access to the springs and scalloping grounds. We fit 2/25’ boats at the dock with no problems. Plenty of room.

Madison's 15th Birthday Weekend

Words are not enough to describe the beauty of this property. The pics are fantastic but the actual property is breath taking. We brought our boat and left it at the dock but the boat ramp was super close too. It was our first time so we have to get used to the tides and skinny waters but we can not wait to come back and stay here. Dani was great with communication! Thank you for sharing this property and helping us make lasting memories for us all

Simply Lovely

The River Garden is beautiful. The house is spacious and comfortable, but the gardens and outdoor spaces are truly splendid! We loved being surrounded by all of the plants and trees with the water right there. And the brickwork was a nostalgic and unique addition! Access to the kayaks was a huge plus as well! We loved it!!

Birthday Weekend

The property is lovely and much nicer than the pictures reflect. The layout is a little funky but there was plenty of room and very clean. The only thing that I did not like is the early check out (10 AM). A word of caution is that the location is more for boats that can go in very shallow water so we did have some issues with navigating the area for the time of year we visited. I heard summer months the water is deeper. The property is perfect for kayaking thought and would stay again!

Mini Paradise home away from home

The property was absolutely beautiful inside and out. We loved the landscape and "tropical paradise" feel of the outdoor area. Inside was gorgeous with windows all around to bring in the light and nature. The house had everything we needed and then some. Don't miss this one... it's a gem!

Florida’s Gem!!

We had a great time at this property!! It had plenty of room for the 8 of us - two couples and 4 kids with the occasional grand parent visit!! We loved using the kayaks daily and I’m very glad I brought my SUP board because that was super fun as well. We utilized the crab traps as well - the kids had a blast with this!! We also went to town and bought stuff for fishing and had a good time trying our hands at that as well! Sunsets were never disappointing nor were the outdoor shower experiences! Great outdoor kitchen as well! Thank you for a great location that made our stay memorable beyond all things!!!

Christmas and Family

Communication between Dani and me was great. She was very quick to respond to my inquiries. This spot is a gem; great location, and beautiful grounds, and is very comfortable and relaxing. We took advantage of the kayaks a couple of times. The weather was rather cool so we had a couple of fires in the outdoor fireplace. We visited the Homosassa Springs State Park. There were over 400 manatees in the spring. Overall it is a great place to stay.

Very Relaxing Stay

We were gathered for a cousin reunion and everyone enjoyed our stay. There were plenty of spots both indoors and outside to gather and talk, play games, and eat. Very nice views of the river and garden.

More Than We Expected!

Our family (seven of us) ranged in age from 23 to 79. We were all in awe of the house and the property! We stayed 5 nights and each day we saw something new from the landscaping to the wildlife on the property and on the water. The house was way bigger than we expected and had everything we needed. The property itself was way bigger than expected too and both inside and out super clean. We caught fish off the dock, saw manatee, otters and beautiful birds! We brought our skiff and tied up to the doc and ran out to the Gulf twice. Gotta be careful, the water is shallow, but no problem for our bottoms boat! The house is super close to all the great eating spots in Old Homosassa, but still far enough away to really slow down and feel like your miles away from anything fast. We loved our whole visit and are already planning another trip for all of us again to definitely stay here!

Beautiful views and lots of space.

The eight of us had plenty of room in this home and with three bathrooms there were no issues there. We didn't get a chance to use the kayaks but the crab traps provided blue crabs for dinner one night. Both the inside and outside areas had plenty of room for us to gather and relax. The one downside is it's not easy, by boat, to get to the primary channel or directly out to the bay from the home. That said the Mason creek ramp is one street over and the public ramp on Homosassa River is 5 minutes away. Lastly Dani was very quick to respond to any questions we had and super helpful. Would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Tropical Oasis and Swimming in Homosassa Springs

The adults all jumped off pontoon into Springs and had a Blast! Ate fresh seafood locally caught at three restaurants suggested by home owner! Otter came and visited us off the dock at the property! This house is wonderful but the property is AMAZING feels like you are in a tropical Oasis. Close to Everything! Ice machine is a big bonus in Summer heat! Easy check in and out!

Wonderful property!

We stayed for a long weekend with our friends, including 5 children and we had such a wonderful time! The house was so big and clean we had plenty of room to spread out and play. It was well stocked with all kinds of items that you need for a fun-filled weekend or week. The amenities were perfect, including the dock to fish (and use provided crab traps), the kayaks, the covered sitting area to enjoy the view, and just the beautiful yard and grounds. We really enjoyed it all! The only con would be the river/creek. We brought our own deck boat and docked it at the house, but the river/creek was not marked and was VERY shallow most of the time. We asked the guy at the bait shop and he said that you really have to be a local to know where your boat could go that close to the house. BUT we just put it back on the trailer and it was only a 5-minute drive to the public dock on the Homosassa River, super easy and we had an awesome time doing that for 2 days. We would highly recommend this house and host, we LOVED it and will be sure to come back again!
