Winter*Spring*Summer*Fall* Year round, this is the perfect mountain retreat! The wide open space and spectacular panoramic views from every room will make this a place you will want to return time and time again with your family and friends!

This 2,000 sq ft, four bedroom, two story, sunny, end-unit condominium in the highly desirable Ponderosa Condominium complex features two large private decks overlooking unobstructed views of Mt. Crested Butte and the surrounding mountains. It is an easy 300 yard walk to the slopes, restaurants, and shopping around the base area and Mountaineer Square. From here you can easily catch a ride on the Mountain Express, a free shuttle service that runs every 20 minutes to historic downtown Crested Butte where shopping and a variety of local restaurants abound.

Kitchen:

The fully stocked kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless steel smooth-top stove, fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. The kitchen has everything you might possibly need to make you feel at home: coffee maker, blender, toaster, high quality serving dishes, pots/pans, flatware, and a crockpot. All on beautiful slate tile floors.

Living room/Dining room:

The spacious, open floor plan is ideal for gathering on the main floor. It's great for a large family or for entertaining friends. The farm house dining table seats 8 as well as 3 more stools at the adjoining bar top.

The living room is decorated with two swivel leather chairs for taking in the panoramic views overlooking Mt Crested Butte and a large sofa perfect for curling up in front of the moss rock fireplace. The living room also has a large flat screen TV with satellite cable.

Bedrooms:

The spacious upstairs Master Bedroom features a private balcony with breathtaking mountain views. A king bed and two full closets and a large dresser give you plenty of storage for a longer stay. A flat screen TV with cable completes a wonderful master bedroom suite.

Equally large, the second upstairs King Bedroom features ample storage with an oversized closet and dresser. The views from the back bedroom overlook the Maroon Bells mountain range in the distance.

The main floor Queen Bedroom is quite spacious with a large dresser for storage and an adjoining bath.

The second main floor bedroom has two Twin beds with colorful quilts and a clear view of the sun rising over the mountain in the morning.

Bathrooms:

Full size bathroom upstairs has a slate tile floor, a shower/tub, and a stacked washer/dryer.

Main floor bathroom is a 'Jack and Jill' set up so that each bedroom having its own sink and toilet. A shared shower/tub is in the middle with two doors for privacy.

This condo has a dedicated WiFi throughout the unit.

This is not a ground level unit. You will have to climb a flight and a half of stairs to access the front door. And an additional flight of stairs for the king bedrooms on the second floor.

All of the art throughout the home reflects the natural beauty of the surrounding area and features the work of several celebrated local artists.

The Area:

Not to mention that Crested Butte is the place to be! After hitting world class terrain, knee deep in powder all day, walk back from the lifts, join your friends and family for apres ski in the large hot tub that accommodates up to seven people and overlooks the base area. Okay. You prefer the warmer months of Spring and Summer. Bring your mountain bike and a pack of friends to ride or hike any one of the scenic trails directly from the front door. Then fire up the gas grill to dine al fresco from the comfort of home on a patio surrounded by mountains.

During the summer months, Crested Butte, the 'Wildflower Capital,' is host to the Wildflower Festival in July as well as many athletic races ranging from Fat Tire Bike Week in June to the Marathon from Gothic to downtown Crested Butte every 4th of July. Additionally, the Gunnison Valley is home to some of the best fly fishing around.

Or Fall. If you prefer the more laid back approach to experiencing the mountains, late September into early October is peak time to watch the Aspens glow. Year round, you will find a good balance between adventure and peace of mind in this quirky but enchanting mountain town.
