'My wife and I stayed for five nights in this beautiful property in Bayeux. The property was very accurately described - in fact, it was better than we expected. 'We stayed in the appartment in July 2025 two persons. Lets take the upside first, if you want a centrally located appartment, the appartment is a good choice, the appartment was clean and fairly silence during evening and night. The single bedroom is very small, and the appartment should be able to cater for 4 - 5 people, I would say a maximum of 3 people. We missed some kitchen equipment, such as a Electric kettle, whisk,ladles, table mats a.s.o. - quite ordinary eqipment and easy to fix for...

'Apartment was just as described. The location was perfect, far enough away from city center to be quiet but close enough for an easy walk to visit the sites. 'The owner was there to welcome us and show us how everything worked. We were close to everything so we were able to walk to a grocery store, sites, and restaurants. There are 2 shower rooms and one toilet. (As an American the description of 2.5 bathrooms implies 3 toilets available). My daughter said that the pullout couch was very comfortable. A great place to stay. '

'Check in and out was very easy. Lockbox is easy-to-use, for Americans the door may be a bit of a challenge as it is one that requires use of door handle to disengage door bolts. Loved being able to leave key in lockbox while we were out. Really a great location for visiting Bayeux and the D-Day sights.'
