'Geen leuke plek om te verblijven. Ja je kan er goed slapen, maar er is veel stijfheid & deftigheid. Daar moet ook maar van houden. Er staat groot hek om heen waar je dmv een pincode in of uit mag. Er slingert overal kinderspeelgoed waarbij je afvraagt of het soms ook dienst doet kindercrèche? Bovendien is de madam des huize niet de allervriendelijkste. '

'Het hotel was prima. De bedden en de badkamer waren ok. Personeel was vriendelijk. Jammer dat je tevoet nergens naartoe kon omdat het zon gevaarlijke baan was . Ontbijt was ook ok.'

'Food is excellent and we were made very welcome despite arriving late for dinner after a long drive. The chateau itself is a lovely building in a beautiful setting and is furnished with an eclectic mix of antique and modern. Atmosphere is relaxed and informal. We didn’t have time to use the spa facilities but will do next time we visit.'

Wel jammer dat de 'aanbieding' van de website hotels.com niet klopte. de kamer van € 126,-- hebben wij niet gezien, de Charmekamer kost altijd incl tax €97, per nacht en dat betaalden wij ook. Op het terras konden geen hapjes worden besteld, alleen drank. Dinerzaal ziet er verzorgd uit, goede maaltijd en ontbijt en de kamer was goed verwarmd. Het Hotel ligt zeer rustig en dicht bij alle bezienswaardigheden.'

Not a hotel but a guest house in a refinished and vibrantly appointed (200 year-old?) historical home newly acquired and attentively managed by Sandra, Michael and son Valentin who were the most welcoming, engaging and thoughtful hosts imaginable. 'Voor bed & breakfast is het ideaal. Alles is netjes en schoon (en nieuw). Het is geen 2 minuten afstand van snelweg. Er zat (nog) geen koelkast in het kamer. Hotel was net 2 dagen open, misschien zetten ze later nog een koelkast. '
