Clean room with good HVAC and shower above a souvenir store steps from the HOF. Perfect for access to HOF, stores, restaurants and a short walk from the lake. Convenient free parking.

Location is amazing, the owners pay attention to every small detail (extra kcups, plenty of linens, baseball themed everything), and the fact that your “parking pass” is a random baseball card that they leave in your room to put on your dashboard was just flat out fun. Super clean and very comfortable, this was the perfect place for my kids and I to spend a few days in beautiful and scenic Cooperstown. So much fun!

This room was soooooo small!!! Think baby's nursery kind of small. The bathroom was literally a closet at some point. Don't use the pictures from the website trick you into believing these rooms are spacious, because they are not. You will be better off staying at one of the major hotel chains in the area for half the price and breakfast is included.

Not a problem for us, but if steps are a problem for you, it will be a challenge. The location is excellent for the HOF. Also within easy walking distance to several restaurants, and souvenir shops abound. The parking at the back of the building is definitely a plus as well, as spaces fill up fast for any street parking.

We had a great stay! The staff was really nice, including the housekeeper and the store staff. I believe it was the owner I spoke to in the store, and he recommended some really good restaurants. My only quip was that I had already paid when he realized I was staying at the hotel, and then he said I could have gotten a discount in the store. This should have been mentioned when I checked in. Otherwise we had a great time in room 1.

Convenient to Everything!

The hotel was so convenient to everything & within walking distance to the HOF as well as good restaurants. The owners are super friendly as well as helpful. The bathroom was on the small side but still had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again.

The location could not be beat! The majority of the attractions were within walking distance so the car could remain in the parking lot that was included! The room was very clean when we arrived and the room was small but comfortable. The staff was great accommodating our late (8:00PM) arrival. Communication was great. The lack of elevators was not a problem but could be for some. Additionally, our room did not have a refrigerator nor were there sweeteners or cream for the Keurig that was provided. In fairness, we never asked if it could be provided so maybe they do. Overall, the price, location and cleanliness make me feel comfortable recommending this motel!

We loved this location!! It was nice and comfortable and unique. The lack of showings on the tv and AC situation were the only slight negatives, but we would definitely stay again!

Great hotel!!

This place is in the perfect location to visit the Hall of Fame and everything that goes with it, located above a nice little store that has something new everytime you go in and look. Ainsley is the manager and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect, if not he did his best to make it as close to perfect that he could. I would recommend staying here to visit the little slice of heaven they call Cooperstown.

Literally less than 300 steps from your room to the Hall of Fame. In the center of it all. Parking is in the back; check in in the sports store was seamless. (If you arrive after 6, Ainsley, the manager, will make sure you're able to get in). Highly recommend. you can walk to anywhere on Main Street.

Small simple adequate room

Perfect location for the Baseball Hall of Fame. Small room, small bathroom. Everything worked. No Elevator to the second floor. Only one bug. Served well for a couple nights to visit the HOF. Dining nearby. Parking free and handy.

The room was smaller than we are use to . The bathroom was also small . Needed a comfortable chair to sit in at night . The location was great in center of town . 22 steps to get to room on second floor , harder for older people with knee problems!!!

Great location

Pros: awesome location, clean room that was spacious- we had living room with table, microwave, fridge & couch. Room was clean, staff was friendly Cons- 1 wall a/c unit in living room on a hot day and was uncomfortably warm in the bedrooms. TV apps required sign-in, limited on what we could watch. Overall, it is a very clean place, staff is great, and location can’t be beat . I would stay again but ask for a different room with better AC. Free parking and can lots of places within walking distance . No elevators and stairs are steep.

Great Modern Room

This is a great spot if all you need is a room. The room was completely modern, with a perfectly functioning AC unit, smart Roku TV, USB charging ports, and comfortable bed and linens. Plenty of space for your clothes to be put away and a mirror in the main space for getting ready. The only opportunity is the bathroom size, which is anemically small. But everything in relation to the bathroom worked perfect, I only wish it were a little larger in size. The check-in process was great and convenient. Having ice available is a nice touch. There were a lot of spiders on your way to getting inside to your room (Spiders are not my favorite!) but is to be expected with the type of building and how it's laid out. Overall, I will definitely be coming back as a spot right in the middle of town and right next to the HOF and DoubleDay Field!

Nice stay at a great location. Quaint and simple rooms. Location is the best with the Hall of Fame adjacent and in the middle of downtown. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. The parking in the back is perfect as it is limited in town during weekends and the busy season. Perfect for a family quick get away to Cooperstown.
