Welcome to Prancing Horse Estates! This beautiful property is located on 10 private, gated acres between The Woodlands and Lake Conroe, near Woodforest. You’ll love this beautiful well stocked home located within 4 meadow and 6 wooded acres with 2 paths to the creek - with lovely space outdoors incl BBQ, pool, waterfall, hot tub, fire pit, seating/dining for 16. This “Readaway, Farm Charm, Set-Jetting” property is an official 2025 Certified Wildlife Habitat® site with the National Wildlife Federation and Texas Conservation Alliance. 8 guests are included in the room rate, additonal day visitors or overnight guests are $35 per person per night (up to 13 adults max overnight). Enjoy 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, living area, dining area, and family room with extensive outdoor space to enjoy. There is 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, 5 twin beds, and 1 queen sleeper sofa. A crib, pack n play and toddler bed are available, as well as air mattresses, upon request.

Check in is after 4 pm, check out is at 11 am. A valid photo ID is required via text PRIOR to arrival. All guests must be registered and paid for two days in advance, including any visitors. We provide a military and police / fireman appreciation discount (ID req). We also provide a 20% repeat 5 star guest discount~we love our repeat visitors!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-equipped getaway. The house truly had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was especially impressive—fully stocked with plenty of pots, pans, plates, glasses, and utensils, along with thoughtful extras like spices, oil, coffee, cream, and sugar. It made cooking meals easy and enjoyable, just like being at home. The outdoor space was just as fantastic. The property had an abundance of seating options, making it perfect for relaxing or gathering as a group. The pool area was a highlight, with pool towels provided and tons of pool toys for both kids and adults to enjoy. We especially loved the layout of the home, with three separate doors leading out to the pool—super convenient and made indoor-outdoor living seamless. Inside, the home was just as comfortable. The beds were incredibly cozy with lots of pillows, and the master bathroom featured a beautiful deep soaker tub—perfect for unwinding. Families will love the thoughtful touches as well, like the toy room in the kids’ bedroom and the wide selection of board games available. The property itself is beautiful and quiet, making it a peaceful retreat. On top of all that, Kelly and Ken were outstanding hosts—friendly, responsive, and extremely helpful throughout our stay.We would absolutely stay here again without hesitation!

Kelly and Co. were awesome. House was great and the pool and hot tub were awesome. Lots of space to walk, take a stroll and just chill.They brought us fresh eggs every morning as well as fresh honey. They even invited my daughter over to pick up the freshly laid eggs.One of the best stays we have had on vacation. We were there for the WBC in Houston. The drive is a straight shot and even though it is a bit of a drive into the city, it was well worth staying a little bit away from town to stay at this place.We will be headed back the next time we are in Houston !I travel a lot and this is probably the best property we have stayed at.

Had a wonderful stay. We were there for my daughters wedding at a nearby venue. The house was perfect for our group and Kelly was an amazing host. I would definitely reccomend staying here if you are doing an event at the Lodge at Mound Creek. Itbis only a couple of minutes away. This would be a perfect place for a family get away with kids. Kelly is an amazing host who responded quickly to all my questions and checked in withb me to make sure we had everything we needed. 5 stars is not enough to give this place and host.

Plenty of room for a large group. Great location if attending an event at the Lodge at Mound Creek. Everything was clean. Lots of extra blankets and towels. Fully stocked kitchen. Large Bluetooth speaker to connect to and play music. If you have small children there are a multitude of games and fun costumes. Host was flexible with check in and out which was nice because people’s flights were arriving at different times.

We had another amazing, relaxing stay! We came as a family of 5 with 3 children, plus my in laws, and everyone had more than enough space to relax, zone out, play, or whatever else came to mind. This is a fabulous property. Perfect for a large family! My kids families of 4 each and me! We all had a private space. The kids loved all the toys and the pool! So peaceful. Terrific Family-Friendly Stay

We chose this rental based on amenities and the rental’s proximity to a wedding my wife and I were attending (our first couples outing without our daughter since her birth). The grandparents joined us at this rental to get some quality time with the grandbaby while my wife and I were at the wedding. We were blown away by the “kids’ room” that we had access to during our stay. There were several books and toys conveniently packed away for use. While our daughter is too young to probably remember this experience, the comfort-of-home offered through this rental made lasting memories for ourselves and the grandparents. Kelly was very responsive during our visit and the house is as incredible as the listing describes. Would return in a heartbeat if in the area.

Plenty of space!!

We stayed on this property so that my daughter and her friends could have a great end of school celebration. There were 12 of us, including my husband and I, and we loved how much space there was throughout the house, including beds. Kitchen had at the cookware we needed, and we even grilled. It was such a relaxing stay even with 10 girls!

Great Place and Great Hostess

We very much enjoyed our stay. The home was modern, clean, and spacious with an open floor plan. The beds were very comfortable and the A/C worked great. Mornings outside on the patio watching the deer and listening to the birds were very relaxing. Kelly, our hostess, was amazing! She was very accommodating, communicative, helpful, and gracious. She took our grandchildren (and us) on a tour of the grounds and let them help her gather the chicken eggs. She also showed them her bee hives and her worm farm. Best stay ever!!!

These 4 days could not be any better! Kelly was so helpful - she even brought us fresh eggs each day! The home is set up perfectly and just as described. We had all we needed! We've stayed at many vacation rental properties and this was my favorite due to the home and also mostly to our hostess! We will definitely book this home the next time we are here!
