'We had a lovely stay at Malanda lodge. The staff were very friendly and the room was beautiful. Would definitely recommend this place. '

'Dit is vooral een accomodatie voor vogelaars/natuurliefhebbers. Het is zeer basic ingericht. Wel met een gezellig kacheltje wat je wel nodig hebt. Redelijk frisjes. Wat erg leuk was dat je sugar sliders en bandicoots kon zien omdat ze 's avonds honing aan een boom smeerde. '

'Mooie omgeving, rust, huizen mooi gebouwd, kleinschalig. Maar er schort wel het 1 en ander: schimmel in badkamer, niet heel schoon (bijv. bij kozijnen), meerdere apparaten kapot (oven, afstandsbedieningen), geen gordijnen en verlichting erg basic. Daardoor is prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding niet echt in orde, want het is behoorlijk prijzig.'

'Het complex is wat verouderd en de 5 sterren zijn naar mijn mening twijfelachtig. Geen portier aanwezig om te assisteren met koffer als je aan komt bijvoorbeeld. Ook is het binnenste van het hotel in de openlucht gebouwd, daardoor hoor je de liftbel continue als iemand tussen de 3 en de 9 verdieping op de liftbel drukt. Wij zaten aan ze zeezijde, daar heb je wel een prachtig uitzicht over de zee en de heuvels. Het zwembad is wat klein, verouderd en er zijn niet heel veel bedden. Als je er...

'We stayed in the hotel twice, the first room we stayed was really cleaned. But the second time, not really happy. The bathroom was dirty, did not look like it was cleaned. I needed to clean the sink due to some black stuffs on it even on the floor looks like dried vomit/blood. Wiped the toilet seat, look like someone stepped on it. They only replaced the towels. The teaspoons were still dirty(not washed), cups were dirty too. The beds were changed, everything is dusty. Hope they will do...

'Personeel bij de receptie erg vriendelijk. Ontbijt dat beschikbaar is, is een (good morning)box met zakje kellogs, houdbare melk, wegwerpschaaltje, koekje, pakje vruchtensap en wat fruit op siroop. Restaurant dat op de website werd gezegd dat aanwezig was, bleek het restaurant van de buren te zijn. Dat het complex wat gedateerd was, vonden wij niet zo erg. Het was wel schoon en de bedden prima. 'It was a really nice hotel! Located at the Marina you’re at all the best places within a 10 minute walk. Close to some great restaurants and shops & right at the reef docks. Room wasn’t that well cleaned upon arrival but it was definitely made up for the next day! The man who helped with the luggage is also a living legend!'
