I would love to say this was the perfect stay, and it almost was. The staff was friendly and took great care in their work, the room was clean and comfortable. However, I will not stay at this hotel again.
When I arrived, I noticed a ton of glass in the parking lot, and when I asked about it, was told someone must have "dropped something." That seemed like a weird response given the amount of glass, but I wasn't parked where it could hurt my tires, so just went up to my room. All was fine until I was leaving. When I came down to checkout, I was told a bunch of cars had been broken into, and windows smashed overnight. Bunch was a complete understatement! There was so much glass all over the parking lot, even huge chunks in the grass behind my car at the edge of the lot. Thankfully, my car was fine, but the amount of glass around it, under it, behind it, beside it... the amount of cars with broken windows... Truly terrified me. I will NEVER stay at a hotel a second (or third in this case) time that has so little security in their lot, these types of occurrences happen frequently enough that it seems common place and was just blown off when questioned. Not only was there clearly a known problem when I arrived as there was already glass in the lot, it happened again while I was there.
I am in no way faulting the hotel employees... they were wonderful. This is a security problem, and thankfully I was leaving when this happened, as I felt completely unsafe.
