« Front desk clerk was wonderful, he was friendly and helpful. He recommended places to eat. Keep in mind most are closed during the week. We got coffee and breakfast at Bohemian Market, had lunch at Howard Station Cafe. We had a pizza and salad at Union Hotel. We wanted to try Negris and Hazel but both were too busy on a Sunday. Beds were soft and comfortable. The pool was too cold to use but it was a nice place to sit. If you’re adventurous I’d recommend the zipline course two miles away. »

« My friends and I came here for a getaway and were pleasantly surprised by the starview lodge. They're honest and right that it's not a lodge, but it is incredibly comfortable and reasonably well appointed. We had a great stay. Some things of note that may be helpful to future guests: The hosts do not provide any body soap or shampoo/conditioner. There is a lovely and well-appointed grocery about 5 minutes away - everything else is 25 minutes up or down windy roads. The driveway is steep, and if...
