We were unable to stay here. When the reservation was made on 02/27/26 I requested a room with a rolling shower. The property staff responded by saying the room that we had booked did not have a rolling shower. I responded back that a walk-in shower would be just fine and did the room we booked have a walk-in shower? There was no response from the hotel staff to my query, just crickets. Since they did not respond back I assumed our room would have a walk-in shower as pictured on the Expedia website. Upon arrival yesterday the room we were given only had a bathtub. I repeated my concerns to the very sweet and helpful front desk, lady Henny, but she was unable to provide the requested amenity. She said next time we needed to contact the hotel directly and make this request. ( Did she really think there was going to be a next time? ). As my mother and I are both elderly and somewhat disabled there is no possibility of using a tub which is why I made the request in the first place. If the property had communicated this to us then we’d have booked elsewhere. So we had to leave with no refund and had to book at another hotel for the night that would honor our request. Even though the front desk lady was understanding and very sweet, ultimately it’s very clear this property does not honor special requests nor value customer service. For these reasons I am giving this property 1 star and cannot in good conscience recommend it to anyone, especially guests with disabilities.
