'Water wouldn't go down the drain, and a few cabinets need there hinges fixed.otherwise very comfortable.'

'Have stayed here twice now with 2 kids. The rooms have been immaculate! they accomodate for my 1 yr old with a cot, sheets and blankets. My 8yr old daughter loves that they have sky tv and the gummy lollies in our room on arrival. Staff are very helpful. Enjoyed our stay with Totara Lodge and will definitely be back. Thank you :-)'

'Beautifully located hotel at the edge, but close to the centre of Upper Hutt. The staff were very friendly and fulfilled all our requests. '

'The staff were very helpful. Had a room with a sofa bed and the staff made up the bed. Clean room and alot of space.'

'Close to grocery shops. Small - pretty easy to find and access. Not fancy but we only needed a bed for the night. Not close to cafes. Would recommend for an overnighter.'

'Good spacious room with everything you need. Hotel staff were excellent'

'Alles netjes, kleinschalig, goede kookgelegenheid, erg leuk en top lokatie'

'All good'

'Prachtige kamer, mooie locatie. Heerlijk gegeten'

'They charged me twice for the room in error and I still haven't received a refund. I messaged them as soon as I realised I'd been over charged and never received a reply to that message. I have to call to get any updates. Check in was via an app which was not straight forward and I wasn't initially sent the access code.'

'Was a good motel. Looks a bit shabby from the outside but inside, it’s still okay. We had a broken bathroom sliding door which was the disadvantage of it all but apart from that, it was a nice stay here and very spacious!'

'l'hôtel est situé en bord de baie, il est vraiment magnifique de l'extérieur mais l'intérieur est encore mieux, c'est propre bien entretenu et surtout à votre arrivée (et départ) vous avez droit à un accueil généreux avec un sourire splendide de la charmante réceptionniste. '
