'Uitgebreid ontbijt, vriendelijke en gastvrije eigenaren, schoon en netjes, gratis parkeren op eigen terrein, mooi gelegen in de Dee vallei. Het is een mooi en oud Victoriaans Herenhuis met veel sfeer. Onze kamer was op de bovenste verdieping met veel schuine kanten (minder geschikt voor lange mensen). Uitstekende wifi!'

'Beautiful location, lovely village and park across the road. Very safe for children to walk around the village. Though mine just stayed in the park. The staff at this hotel are very well mannered, attentive and successful in what they do regardless of obvious pressures. A bit disappointed there wasn't any danishes available before breakfast had finished at the early time of 930am. Plenty of cereals, toast and jams with plenty of coffee that you can takeaway'

'Ontvangst bij receptie was vriendelijk. De kamer was ver weg maar schoon en opgeruimd. Het ontbijt was prima, met zelfs opgewarmde croissants. Hebben er ook heel goed gedineerd.'

'Spent a one night stay in a family with my two 14 year olds. Check in was a bit slow, waiting in the bar area for around 10-15 minutes early evening, before a staff member could see to us. Our room was in a separate building and was newly refurbished. It was spacious with a large bed and sturdy bunks, all important WiFi for the kids! Decoration was cosy and comfortable. Tea making facilities were welcomed. Had a quiet nights rest. We ate our evening meal in the restaurant. We were served quickly...

'David and Elvira are fantastic hosts who ensure that your stay is very personal. The room we stayed in was very clean and perfect and had everything that we needed e.g tea, coffee and luxury bath products. The breakfast was excellent - couldn't eat everything as the portions were so large. Would highly recommend and look forward to going back!'
