'We stayed at Our Valley View Bed & Breakfast for two nights over the Civic holiday long weekend and it was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and relaxed. The room was spotless, with a comfortable queen bed and rustic decor. Everything felt thoughtfully arranged. The homemade breakfasts were a highlight — freshly baked muffins, fruit from the garden, delicious farm fresh eggs, fresh brewed coffee, toast and raw honey from their own bee hives and local apple...

We spent the night in her gorgeous Suite Room on the second floor, which was quiet, beautifully appointed, and spotlessly clean. Will definitely stay again next time we visit Port Hope. 'Staff was fantastic, room was comfortable and clean. Standard breakfast. Only complaint would be that the pool room was very cold sitting with kids. They had thermostat locked up and sitting at 15°C. Staff said they were unable to change. '

'We have stayed here several times and have always felt safe,comfortable and really enjoyed our stay. Although the menu items are the same (cereal, toast, waffles, eggs,bacon and sausages, yogurt and a couple of fruits) the food is always hot and waffle mix pre-measured. Just wish maybe breakfast potatoes were available. Plenty of parking. Parking spots were plowed and walkways were kept clear during the snow fall. Very welcoming and staff is attentive.
