We were in Quito for my daughter’s wedding and it was so nice to have the lobby space in between our huge rooms so that we could go back and forth when needed. The breakfasts were delicious, every day a different fresh squeezed juice with an explanation of where it was from. Tamy went way beyond by arranging car services for our large group. 'Fantastic stay at La Basilica Quito. Great location with good security, very friendly owners and staff. English spoken. Very clean and nice rooms, comfortable beds and bathroom with all amenities. Some of the rooms are located in-house, which makes them a bit stuffy due to lack of ventilation, but this is minor. Right in the hart of Old Quito at 5 minutes walk from historic square with cathedral, museums, presidential palace, and also the National Basilica. '

'My first time using this application and this place was a surprise. For a local I think is great but someone who's traveling from far I wouldn't recommend this place because is not in a good area. Not a good area and that pretty much some races everything. The bathrooms were too close to the wall and it feels like you're about to do a headbutt while you using the toilet.
