  • Prachtig, schilderachtig en rustgevend uitzicht op de Atlantische Oceaan. Comfortabele, gezellige en luxe woonruimte van 3.800 sq feet. Volledig uitgerust met alles wat je nodig hebt, voor herinneringen voor het leven en een onvergetelijke ervaring. We zorgen voor al het beddengoed, handdoeken en een barbecue. Je loopt zo naar het strand van La Plage. Er zijn verschillende wandelroutes direct vanaf het huis. De wereldberoemde Sky Line-route ligt op ongeveer 30 minuten rijden.

    Je kunt vanaf 17.00 uur inchecken via het sleutelkastje. Uitchecken is om 10.00 uur. Gooi al het gebruikte linnengoed, lakens en handdoeken in de wasruimte en doe al het recyclebare afval in de blauwe zakken en al het restafval in de zwarte zakken die onder de gootsteen in de keuken staan. Zet ze vervolgens in de afvalbak buiten bij de oprit, naast het bord.

    We hebben een aantal handige tips achtergelaten op de tafel bij de ingang; lees deze even door. Bedankt en geniet van een heerlijk verblijf.

The view is absolutely stunning! The cottage was very clean, spacious, and well-equipped, and the location was perfect. It’s close to convenience stores and whale-watching tours, and we were even lucky enough to see whales right from the balcony! The host was very respectful, responsive, and easy to communicate with. We were a group of friends and family, and we all really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!

The location was ideal for us. We wanted a water view in a non built up area. On clear nights sky views were wonderful. During the day seals, gulls (3 species ), ducks, smaller land birds flittering around. Resident great blue heron, guilemiont, and eider. Sitting on deck day and night great. Lots of space, more roomThan required for the 8 of us. Nice big table for group to use. Clean, great indoor air circulation (locate the two vents upstairs and open them). Short distance to seafood. 5 out of 5.

Liked - the location, especially the outside, the living rooms and kitchen layout. - Aized is courteous and communicative which I really appreciated - well insulated windows (it can get windy here) - centrally located for a bunch of activities on the cabot trail - a beautiful view to wake up to rain or shine Didn't Like - the Internet speed was not as advertised. It was slower than expected - the deep bathtub could benefit from a curtain so that it can be used for a normal shower - the layout of the top WC is a bit awkward as the sink is outside the WC

A wonderful place to have a reunion - close to the beach, hiking and the village of Cheticamp.

It gave our family a great spot to eat, visit, play board games, have a kitchen party on the deck, hike and swim.

Golf trilp

The house is located right on the water front of Chitticamp island, it host a beautiful view both day and night, and very conveniently located to some of the best golf courses in Canada if not the world.

Gorgeous house

Wonderful views, very large and thougtfully designed house offering quiet and privacy. Close to Cape Breton National Park and the town of Cheticamp. We enjoyed the large number of rooms and bathrooms available to choose from - perfect for a larger group!

Served us well

Great location on the water with great views. Multiple sleeping options with three bedrooms in basement and two twins in the living room loft. A patchwork of comfy, functional furniture. Easy to come and go.

We had a lovely stay at the Chateau acadien. The panoramic view from the deck of the Cape Breton shoreline is unforgettable. All the rooms were luxurious and clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location on Cheticamp Island is in the original fishing settlement, and a small museum is being built nearby. It is supremely quiet and peaceful, but conveniently close to Cheticamp. I highly recommend this property.

Family vacation

We were very happy with the location and we had six in our group. We had adequate rooms to spread out and enjoyed the large kitchen table to play games that was provided. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the large deck and the beautiful view. We wished we could have stayed longer.

We used it for a group of 8 golfing trip. Exactly what we needed: Close to the golf course/amenities/restaurants, lots of space of everyone to sleep and have a bit of privacy if wanted, the most outstanding views, beautiful deck to enjoy the views. One thing to be aware of is that if you arrive in the dark as we did, may be a little difficult to find the driveway.

Great Getaway

We had a wonderful trip! The property is located on a secluded island just minutes away from the town of Cheticamp. We went for a morning round of golf at la Portage Golf and Country club and followed by an evening taking in the local bands at the Doryman Pub!The Property has beautiful wrap around windows allowing for a view of the bay from 3 sides, and a wrap around deckperfect for morning coffees and evening BBQs. We are going looking forward to coming back next year and making this trip an annual tradition.

Awesome view a! Wonderful unspoiled natural area!

We had a wonderful time. The view and the island were magnificent. We saw numerous birds, seals and dolphin. Swam at nearby beach where the kids caught and released many hermit crabs. Went to the lighthouse on island and hiked at Cape Breton National Park. Wildlife everywhere. One of the most beautiful unspoiled areas any of us had ever visited.
