Chalet Spa Le Boréal , Chertsey

Welcome to Chalet Le Boréal in Chertsey! Less than an hour from Montreal, this new rustic-style chalet on the Ouareau River offers a cozy escape in nature—perfect for outdoor lovers year-round.

Outdoors:

You’ll enjoy a large lot with an outdoor firepit featuring a spark guard, surrounded by Adirondack chairs.

Hiking trails are just a few minutes’ walk from the chalet (see the map provided inside).

You’ll also have access to Lake Lise, a 5–10 minute walk away. There you’ll find a small beach, a dock, a floating platform in the middle of the lake, and picnic tables. Our kayak is available for you to use at this location.

Through the hiking trails, you can also reach swimming spots along the Ouareau River. There you’ll find large rocks and calm pools without current (similar to the Rawdon Falls), perfect for cooling off (the location is marked on the map provided in the chalet)!

Indoors:

The main floor of the chalet features an open-concept layout with cathedral ceilings and heated floors, combining the dining room, living room, and kitchen.

The fully equipped kitchen includes an espresso machine and everything you’ll need for your stay: microwave, toaster, raclette set, fondue set, wine and beverage cooler, fridge, freezer with ice maker, dishwasher, and more! A propane barbecue is also available year-round.

On the main floor living room, you’ll find a slow-combustion fireplace along with two leather armchairs for relaxing. The TV is located in the upstairs living room, where Wi-Fi, Netflix, and Disney+ are available.

Also on the main floor are one bedroom with a queen bed, the main bathroom, plus a washer and dryer.

Upstairs, there is another bedroom with a queen bed and a half-bathroom.

A spacious three-season veranda will charm you with the soothing sounds of the Ouareau River in the background—the perfect spot to unwind. It’s furnished with a large outdoor sectional sofa, a hanging chair, and a patio heater for cooler evenings. There’s also a large deck with a patio table, umbrella, chairs, and a barbecue (propane provided).

Families are well accommodated with included baby and child essentials: playpen, mattress cover, two booster chairs with trays, inflatable boat (used as a bathtub in the shower), baby spoons, two silicone bibs, plastic bowls, plates, and cups, plus games. Everything is stored in the closet of the second bedroom on the main floor.

Everything you need is provided except your clothing and food. The water is drinkable, and firewood is included.

This natural setting, with only one neighbor, is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. The chalet is located in a private estate where all trails, both in summer and winter, are carefully maintained—just like Lake Lise’s beach. This estate is truly a hiker’s paradise.
