We felt so welcome here - the kindest, most welcoming people, and very cosy, spotless, pretty rooms, with welcome baskets of much-appreciated snacks. Very comfy, quiet and peaceful. 'Highly recommend to stay at Cromwell’s Tap House. It’s located in the heart of Shrewsbury, at walking distance of pretty much everything in town. Only 7 minutes from the train station. The rooms were located on the first floor above the pub. We heard no noise whatsoever, and only in the morning we heard some cars go by, but it was of no nuisance to us. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and there were a lot of amenities like a hairdryer, coffee, tea, and towels. The linen were also...

'As we were attending a family party in central Shrewsbury, we wanted to stay fairly close with parking. The Yak & Yeti was perfect for us: great location - only a short walk over the bridge into town. We had the most amazing breakfast in the morning - exactly what we needed after a late night out!'

'Nice quiet tranquil location, wonderful characterful property. A nice surprise to find a fully decorated Christmas tree up in the front room upon arrival! Contact with the host Jeanette very easy through text. Enjoyed the log burner on the winter evenings. Already thinking about a return trip next Christmas!'

'The staff were amazing nothing was to much trouble, we requested a quieter room due to it being a Saturday night and was put on the 2nd floor. The restaurant food was lovely, this is such a lovely place to stay in Shrewsbury very central would definitely stay here again in the summer '

'The property was great. My party really enjoyed it. The only issue is that it was very cold when we arrived. I would suggest in winter having the heat on several hours prior to guest arrival. Otherwise, a great experience. '
