'We began our stay in Ischia recuperating from the trip at Samiramis. We moved Albergo Macri as a home base for day trips around Ischia and to Naples, Pozzuoli and the Amalfi Coast. We were very conveniently located to take ferries and buses for those day trips. There is an excellent restaurant just down the block, and many more around the port and further into Ischia Porto. The owners were very hospitable. Excellent value. '

We were here for the second time and love both swimming pools and the very well prepared lunches near the pool. Helpfull with ordening a rental car and paying attention to our request by having a room on ground floor. Will come back a third time definitely. Grazie Mile!'

'Set atop a hill overlooking Ischia Ponte, the location and views are wonderful. The B&B itself is comfortable and the people very nice, even if they hardly spoke English. Facilities could use some maintenance but this is still very much a recommended spot.'
