My extended family absolutely loved the lakehouse. The kitchen was well stocked and the bar seats allowed for many morning gatherings while breakfast was being prepared. The kids enjoyed the kayaks, firepit, cornhole, Connect 4, board games, and ping pong table. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect spot for family getaway

Great house for spending time with extended family / friends. On the quieter north end of the lake with easy access for boating while the water is calm for swimming for the little ones.

Beautiful View!

Gorgeous view of the lake with a fabulous porch. We had a wonderful time. Communication with the owner was easy and they were quick to respond to a broken dock ladder.

Amazing stay!!

Everything was perfect for a lake weekend getaway. We especially loved the fire pit area. The house was spacious, clean and fully equipped with everything we could need. Communication was also wonderful. Thank you!! Highly recommend!

Mi casa su casa was great for weekend getaway. The grill starter did not work which was communicated with property manager and it was never fixed but other than that all was good!

Great Property & Location

Overall very good. We had a great time on the lake with Boat and Jet skis. Location was great and House fit our needs. Only complaints were centipedes downstairs to the point they sent exterminator. The prior guests left pretzels everywhere and the cleaning crew could have done a better job including outdoors off the patio. Property manager was readily available to solve issues. Again, great house and great location.

Lake Norman. Casa del Rio

We had a wonderful time. Casa Del Rio met all of our needs. Home was clean and ready to go. Plenty of dishes, pans and kitchen equipment. Air conditioning was spot on. The view was wonderful. Something for everyone. Could easily dock the boat. Had deep water. The only thing that could be difficult for those with disabilities is that there are quite a few stairs. We all did well with it and it was a short walk to the docks. Loved the location because it had fewer boat traffic. Thank you

Nice but needs work

The house was nice. It is 30 min to restaurants and 20 minutes to grocery store. The house had large black ants that was everywhere. The basement was very musty. I told the home owner and they asked if dehumidifier was on. It was and the smell was still very strong. The video machine did not work. The stairs down to dock could use a rail.

Family Wedding Weekend on Lake Norman

This beautiful lake house offered the perfect setting and accommodations for the families of the bride and groom during their wedding weekend. We traveled from Western New York to celebrate the marriage of our son and daughter-in-law, who live in NC, and we enjoyed four wonderful days together. There was plenty of room for all of us, and there was no need to leave the lake, other than for the actual wedding. We enjoyed the lake -- paddleboard, kayak, and fishing, as well as the ping-pong table, corn hole, and arcade. The bar is absolutely awesome, even though it didn't get much use, it would be perfect if you wanted to entertain. The covered deck, both upper and lower, were perfect, and it allowed us to be outside even when it rained. The large dining area was perfect for our formal wedding dinner, and the outside deck table was big enough to accommodate both families for meals on the other nights. This spot is very private, and we would definitely return. This quiet cove offered a relaxing getaway, and it was everything we had hoped it would be.

A great vacation with our family

We stayed here for 8 days. The property was exactly as described, 5 full bedrooms, with 3 and 1/2 baths. Every bedroom was comfortable and private, each had a Roku TV with local cable access and the house had wifi. The dock accommodated the large boat that we rented, and is big enough to hold 2 boats + a jet ski. The house included a paddle board and kayak, as well as multiple life vests and pool noodles. Our group included my wife and me, our oldest son, his wife and their 4 kids (ages 15, 10, 5 and 18 months), our middle son and his wife and our daughter. Everyone had something to do, from swimming and kayaking/paddleboarding in the lake, fishing off the docks, cooking in the well-apportioned kitchen, sitting around the fire pit in the evening or boating. I had sent a few messages to our hosts in advance of our arrival, and all were answered immediately and positively. We asked about a pack-and-play and a baby gate for the baby, they supplied both before we arrived. Also, our timing got us there a few hours before checkin time, and they worked it so we could enter before the 4 pm arrival time. They communicated by email and text throughout our stay to be sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The house is located deep in a cove (think of a cul-de-sac), in deep water, so there is almost no boat traffic by the house, but with deep water, no problem using the boat. All in all, a great location. Would absolutely stay here again!

Family Vacation 2023

My family & friends had a wonderful time & we would come back. There are a few things I would like to alert the homeowner of: Washing machine did not work. We contacted the person that called us via text on the day before arriving, as she said this would be the only way to communicate once we arrived. No response. Called property mgr., left v/m. Did not hear from her for a few hours so called again and she answered. Advised I left message, she said she didn't get it due to having issues w/ her vm. Good thing I called again. She said someone would be out soon and assess the issue. We left for several hrs on the boat, when we returned still not fixed nor a message on timeframe. This was about 5’ish. Finally texted property mgr requesting update and stated we needed towels since we could not wash ours. Shortly after received text message from general number stating we can access the closet and get additional towels. Gave us the code, thankful, however there was only 1 bath and several hand towels. We made it work. Dishwasher top rack did not clean properly, had to hand was. My husband discovered whomever had the last rental must have not rinsed dished as the top sprayer was filled with corn cob pieces. My husband tried to clean it but it did not work. I know we are on a lake, but there were tons of ants everywhere. Perhaps a monthly service to alleviate the amount would be great. You have an amazing home with everything we needed. Will highly recommend!!!.

Lake Norman weekend

Fantastic home with beautiful setting on the lake. Home has many great amenities for entertainment and recreation. Loved everything about our stay. Highly recommend. Will do this again!

Lovely

Right on the lake, close to boat ramp. Peaceful cove setting. House was spacious, plenty of room for sleeping 9 adults. We had a lovely time, and had a productive work session.

Vacation at Micasa Ucasa

Had a very nice week—house was great —a lot of room for kids! Only 2 issues— light in downstairs shower did not work. Someone from agency came out and looked at it. Said they would come back—never did. Also a lot of 1 inch worms in lower level. Ran dehumidifier but didn’t eliminate them.
