We had a wonderful stay! We had plenty of space, and the beds were quite comfortable and spacious. The jacuzzi and fire pit were a wonderful touch for this cold weather, and we had plenty of linens! There are only two things I believe can be communicated better. The upstairs bedroom with the queen bed isn’t the best for privacy. We were unaware that one of the walls has a window instead of a full wall. Great room for kids though! This is also listed as pet friendly, but the listing doesn’t specify pet policy, or how many pets you are allowed to bring without additional charges. We didn’t get that info until two days prior to our trip. It would be helpful if that was put in the original listing description. But, it was still an amazing stay! Very lovely and quiet neighborhood!

Great vacation for family of five. The house was large and well equipped. Kitchen was stocked and a very close by Publix made it easy to get food for the week. We loved the canoes and spent everyday on the water! We rented a boat from a nearby marina and loved tubing on the lake. The kids were so sad to leave and they can’t wait to go back!The house faces east so the afternoons and evenings have a lot of shade to enjoy the lake. We would have loved an umbrella or two closer to the water or on the deck to provide a little shade for the kids. Overall, wonderful property and the property manager was a delight to work with. Prompt responses to any questions, we will be back!

Family Fourth of July

We really enjoyed this house. It had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our family. The furniture was nice, the house was clean. There were plenty of towels and beach towels. The outdoor furniture was nice and clean. We enjoyed swimming off the dock and the fire pit. The hot tub was a fun evening, activity, too. The game room always added a bit of excitement to the end of a long day. A little landscaping would make this place perfect, but I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for the fun week.

Great Stay!

This was a wonderful place to stay and we would definitely recommend! Great communication other than not realizing I needed to download an app for some of the information. Everyone was very quick to respond when I needed help with the code to the game room. Only issue we had was that we could not figure out how to work the ceiling fans in the rooms, but we only stayed 2 nights so it was not a big deal. Loved that there was a boat ramp for easy access to the lake!

Great place for family getaways!

The property was great, the kiddos loved the separate game house and the dock area was lovely. We really enjoyed the kayaks and just all of the outside space, fire pit, hammock and jacuzzi. We had an issue with the hot water in the kitchen only working sporadically but the host was responsive and I’m sure got that repaired, we were only there for a weekend. We cooked a lot of big meals so we recommended they replace the can opener which didn’t work and provide more than one kitchen towel for drying the big pots and pans we had to wash by hand. The host was very grateful for our feedback. The property was very lovely though and we had a wonderful weekend and would definitely be back!

Beautiful Property on the Water

Our group loved the roominess of the house along with the fabulous location on the lake! We took advantage of the amenities such as the fire pit, kayaks, hot tub, and numerous outdoor spaces. Everything was as advertised. We did feel the space could have been a bit cleaner upon our arrival, and did note that some pantry staples were missing (such as salt!) so we had to run out to purchase those even though they were supposed to be included. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the large living spaces, and we loved being right on the lake and being able to pop in the water for a swim. Sunsets and sunrises were gorgeous! A very peaceful and special place.

Amazing property

Family get together

The house was available at the designated check in. The location and lake view were great. The inside of the home was clean. However there were many issues/inconveniences. We were given one bath towel per person but no wash cloths. The outdoor trash cans were completely full the day we arrived. The property had cobwebs and spiders all around the porch and boat house which have been there for sometime due to size, the hot tube was disgusting and unusable, the patio furniture was covered with green mold and filthy could not sit on it. We encountered a copperhead snake on the walk way to the game room which tried to strike us. The itrip folks made excuses for everything but did send maintenance out to the property at 5pm which worked until 9pm to take care of the hot tube and furniture which could not be used for several days. The itrip check out process wanted me to strip all bedding, throw a load of towels in the washers, load and run the dishwasher after i paid all those fees for cleaning and SPECIAL FEES?? I would really appreciate if Vrbo would review all the fees and taxes charged with an explanation. ITrip blamed the state of nc with no explanation. Looking forward hearing back from you before posting my review.

Great Lake Getaway

We really enjoyed the property and area! There are several locations in and around the house for relaxation and fun. Our family could join together in the living room and dining room or retreat to another area for quiet time. We loved kayaking the lake, the hot tub, lounging in the hammock and sitting around the fire pit. It was a fantastic family vacay!

Family Lake Trip

We loved the property! Soo much to do on and off the water. Only two draw backs, the boat slip is very narrow and we ended up using a local ramp. I wish the upstairs had a full bath other than through the master. Overall we had a great time and would definitely rent again.

Small bachelor/bachelorette weekend

We came into town with a small group of friends to celebrate our wedding that is in June. Lake Norman is a great spot ! The property was great for a group outing and having plenty of stuff to do weather permitting (large sun room that’s screened in) and detached garage turned into a game room! The property had a fire pit, grill, hot tub, dock with kayaks. This is a great spot to stay with a group looking to spend time on the water. Was close to some nice restaurants and take out food as well. We will def be trying to come back again!

Great property!

The house was super clean, very nicely decorated, and had loads of fun amenities. The only thing that wasn't great was that the only full bathroom in the upper level was in the master (half bath for three bedrooms), but other than that it was great! I would stay here again.

Overall, this is a great place to stay. The house is nice, the place was clean, there were plenty of towels and blankets. Plenty of outdoor space to enjoy, even in the winter. The house pretty much looks exactly like the photos. The location is nice, we were right down the road from a nice park, restaurants, etc. The rooms were large, but the kitchen (as you can see in the photos) is kind of small in comparison to the rest of the house. It's still really nice though, it's mainly just a bit skinny for a house with 12 people all trying to get snacks at the same time. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, possibly the best I've experienced. Knives that actually cut, all the different types of supplies we needed, etc. I would definitely recommend staying there, and would definitely stay there again, but there were a few things we wish we'd known so here are some FYI points you may find helpful: 1. Make sure to check the hot tub as soon as you get here, it was down in the 80s so we bumped it up and had to wait until the next day to use it. 2. There's no actual walkway path from the parking area to the traditional front door of the home. The area where you do need to enter and exit involved you walking below the exterior steps and it was a bit awkward. Mainly for my parents, who have to watch their steps carefully. 3. The detached garage/game room is an uphill walk from the house and you have to go up several steps to get into the garage, in case that matters to you. 4. My parents stayed on the lower level bedroom so they wouldn't have to go up and down stairs the whole time. But just FYI that bedroom has a step going in and out of it inside and an oversized step going in and out of the exterior door. The shower/tub in the bathroom on that level also was a decent step in and the tub was slick, so they ended up walking up the stairs to use the walk-in shower. 5. Communication could be better. We missed the fact that there was a number to call during our stay, because there were so many emails from them we didn't catch that part. So we messaged here instead and someone responded but never answered our questions. They eventually sent us that number, but they should have done that on the first day I messaged them instead of more than halfway through our trip.

Nice lake front property

The view was stunning and we enjoyed our stay. We used the kayaks on property and had a great time. The game room in the garage was lots of fun for the kids! Loved the 2nd floor master shower too!
