Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. This newly renovated home on the peninsula close to best restaurants, coffee shops and shopping. Five minute walk to King St. The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. This place is perfect for friends, family or couples looking to experience the best of Charleston.
The space
Spacious 3 bedroom 2 bath home with wonderful airy and brightened living area that includes a beautiful archway to the generous master bedroom. The home is located on the second floor of "Charleston Single" duplex. The house is elegantly furnished with renovated kitchen cabinets, countertops, appliances and euro bathroom. Each room is completely furnished with all essentials. The home was built in 1895; therefore, we kindly ask that the home is respected and treated with care as fixtures furniture and workmanship are irreplaceable.

The home is 5 minute walk to upper king St close to restaurants and Hampton Park; and 5 minute drive to lower King St with shopping and Battery Park. Bathrooms located inside bedroom and beside kitchen. Due to age of the home, one area of the kitchen has sloping floor which has been stabilized.

Nope

Overnight Charleston trip with family. On check in, heavy smell of marijuana inside and on porch. Dirty refrigerator and freezer. Bathroom was bad. Shower curtin should have been changed 3yrs ago. Linens and towels are worn and stained. Curtains very stained. Beds were losely made like someone who was staying there last just made the bed instead of a house keeper. Floor was dirty, not swept. The neighborhood didn't feel safe. Let your imagination feel in the blanks. Anyway, suggest you steer clear of this place. We won't be back. Cheers.

Pictures Don't Do Justice!

We picked this location for location and pricing. We're 4 women who travel together, coming from different states. We really just wanted a place to sleep and shower and sit around at catch up when we're weren't being tourists in downtown Charleston. However, when we walked upstairs, we were blown away by the charm of the apartment. Every inch of historic charm has been lovingly preserved, while still giving us the modern amenities we "need". The beds were so comfortable with great linens. Kitchen was well appointed. There was room for all 4 of us to spread and and be comfortable. There is so much to fall in love with in every corner, it took us 2 days to realize there was a tv in our bedroom over the fireplace! I was lax in reading the check-in instructions, and our host was so patient with my ridiculous questions. The response time was almost immediately. So thanks for that!I don't know when I'll be in Charleston, but I hope to stay here again someday. Thank you for being a beautiful part of our vacation, not just a necessity.

SC Visit

The house was not far from King Street, approx 10 minutes, when walking at a normal pace. The stairs leading up to the unit are very uneven and narrow.

Delightful Destination Sister’s Weekend

From the nice quality linens, the shower toiletries, coffee filters/ coffee to bottled water…our stay was very accommodating. Our host, JP was friendly, helpful, and thoughtful. We enjoyed close neighborhood coffee shops and easy/ quick walking distance to King St and downtown.

NOT THE PLACE FOR A PEACEFUL VACATION

This property is feet away from a major thoroughfare and elementary school so it’s loud. Road noise is especially loud. The neighborhood isn’t close to King street at all (not a 5 min walk as listed in property description) and is in a questionable neighborhood. My husband who runs every day didn’t feel comfortable running there. We checked into a downtown hotel instead. The property owner refused to refund anything until I contacted VRBO and then he only gave a 20% refund. Very frustrating experience.

Great Stay - Beautiful Home with lots of Room

We loved this home. Very comfortable, plenty of room, well-equipped kitchen and outdoor space. Good location. Could walk to coffee shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.
