Island's Sunset Master Blue Guest Room on Lake Murray

This gorgeous property is located on a peninsula of 16 homes on a quiet section of beautiful Lake Murray, has large windows to view the lake, and offers swimming in the lake or pool at the main house, as well as kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, hiking, shuffleboard, horseshoes, basketball, pickleball, picnic area with swings, wood burning fire pit on a sandy beach, new gas fire pit in lounge area on rear deck, as well as rocking chairs by the pool to view gorgeous sunsets in the evening!

There's also great striper bass fishing on Lake Murray with a fish cleaning station available for your use! In addition, there's two boat ramps on the premises to launch your own boat and a newly renovated dock to moor at! The property offers shared watercraft as well, including 2 Pedal Kayaks, Canoe, Paddle Board, Floats, Children's 4 seat paddle boat, 15' bouncer on the lake when available.

The sidewalks around the property are nice to stroll on with awesome views of the lake, fountains, and a pond. Walks in the evening are especially nice when the stars are shining brightly!

The Sunset Blue Master Bedroom sleeps 2 on a king bed, has it's own full bath, and is perfect for a romantic get away! It has lots of large windows with fantastic views of the lake and also includes 2 nightstands and lamps, curio cabinet, dresser with mirror, recliner, side table, two side chairs with end table, full size desk and chair, a small chest of drawers, brand new carpeting, a wall mounted cable TV, and a separate exterior entrance from the rear porch. This room also has a mini fridge/freezer/microwave combo and coffee maker. Paper goods, plasticware, paper towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, and linens are provided.

There is a propane grill available upon request on the rear deck overlooking the lake.

Absolutely wonderful experience! We will return!

We loved our 8 night stay. The hosts have thought of everything you’ll need. They are delightful and so kind. We felt welcomed our entire time. They went above and beyond to make sure that we had an excellent experience. The blue room was great. The bed was super comfortable. The view from our room of the lake was fantastic!The entire property was well maintained and beautiful. We sat on the dock and watched the sunset almost every night. We watched a sunrise too. They have many things to do on the property. Everything you see in the pictures and more! There are lots of areas all around the property to rest and relax too. We felt blessed to be a guest there. We plan on renting this room again AND hopefully renting several rooms to bring family with us too. We will return! We highly recommend this rental!

I reserved this room for our son and daughter-in-law while we stayed in the cottage with the grandkids. They said it was a beautiful room with lots of space. My son had to do some work remotely and was very comfortable working from here. They said they loved the patio and all the games, pool, hot tub, and kayaks and are already planning another trip. We recently enjoyed our second stay at Island's Sunset on Lake Murray, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The location is fantastic, and Debra and Dennis are incredibly gracious and friendly hosts. They kindly heated the pool for us when we wanted to swim, and they also accommodated our schedule for a boat tour to view our newly purchased property from the water. Whenever we're in town overseeing the construction of our new home, Island's Sunset will be our go-to choice. Debra and Dennis truly make you feel like part of the family.

BEST VRBO in Chapin SC

Debra and Dennis were without a doubt the BEST hosts for our brief weekend gateway to Chapin! The location is nothing short of amazing and they are wonderful people! I’ve traveled to 56 countries and 23 states in my time and have NEVER been treated more kindly than we were during our stay! Debra and Dennis are so attentive to detail and made the stay that much better! The property is HUGE and we never heard either of them or their two pups Butterscotch and Tucker! We will be back!! You will not be dissapointed if you plan your stay here on the lake!

Perfect Getaway!

We are a couple who love to travel and find great places to make great memories. The Island's Sunset Master Blue Room on Lake Murray is a perfect place to stay for a perfect getaway. This was our second stay on the property, and we hope it will not be our last. The room is spacious, pristine clean, and has very comfortable accommodations. The hosts have provided all kinds of extras from beach towels to coffee and snacks. On site, there are multiple fun, water activities, and the view of Lake Murray from the room (property) is relaxing and peaceful. All other needs (ie: grocery store, restaurants etc) are within easy driving distance. But, honestly, we didn't want to leave the lake -- it's lovely. Last, the property grounds are filled with flowers and fountains. It's a wonderful place. Met all our exceptions and more. It is VRBO at its best.

Perfect Lake Vacation For Us

This was a beautiful setting with all the accommodations for a wonderful stay. I have never stayed anywhere else with such exceptional facilities and the owners were wonderful and friendly. They came running with a fishing net when I caught by big catfish off the dock. She baked a fresh sponge cake with strawberries, ice cream, and cool whip the she gladly share with us. I can’t wait to return with some friends.

Best VRBO Stay Ever!!

Our stay at Island Sunset on Lake Murray was fabulous. Debra and Dennis are wonderful hosts, giving us on property help, but also allowing privacy. We felt like we were at a 5 Star resort. The accommodations were clean and comfortable with all of the comfort's of home and more! We enjoyed the use of the pool, jacuzzi, pedal boat, BBQ and fire pit on the beach. Debra even kindly provided s’more making goodie’s!! We cannot wait to return.
