This small house was perfect for our family of five (all adults). Our stay was short and we didnât spend much time there. House is quite old, but everything was in working order.
Beautifully refurbished old home in the heart of Champaign
The house is beautifully redone. Love the tin ceiling accents and coffee options included. The laundry room with nice washer and dryer were super helpful on a family trip. Plenty of blankets, sheets, etc. also plenty of dishes to cook a family meal. The neighborhood is quiet and so peaceful. Would stay again.
I found the property to be very charming and cozy with a nostalgic ambiance. The only recommendations I have are to paint the porch and to add TVs in the bedrooms.
We had a great experience at this property. Dan was a fantastic hostâfriendly, responsive, and very accommodating. Communication was easy from start to finish. The house itself was clean, cozy, and well decorated. We especially appreciated the Nespresso machineâsuch a nice touch for coffee lovers. The location was super convenient, with a bus stop right outside that we used several times to get around.Just one thing to be aware of: the house is quite old, and you can hear the floors creak when walking around. It didnât bother us much, but itâs something to know in advance.Overall, a pleasant stay and weâd recommend it to others looking for a comfortable, well-located home with a great host.
This cozy bungalow was just that, well located nearHessel Park and close to downtown. Despite being on a major street the house is very quiet with no noise disturbances. This is important to me as I am a light sleeper. Kitchen is updated and well supplied. We would stay here again.
