'This was a very nice affordable place to stay in Cusco. One thing that I wasn’t expecting was there was no front desk or lobby. I arrived late at night and it’s not very well marked. I had to ring a doorbell and was quickly greeted very nice employee who gave me my room code. (It’s a historic building so they can’t make changes to the exterior.) 'We had a lovely room perfect for our family of four and the hotel had a really nice courtyard and breakfast. The staff went out of their way to be helpful on multiple occasions and were exceptionally friendly.'

'Lilium Valley in Ollantaytambo was perfect for us. Communication with the hosts was excellent during booking and they answered all of our queries. A bonus was off-road parking for our rental car. The hosts were welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. They offered us an early breakfast due to our early start onto the Inca Trail. The accommodation is only a short walk to the main square but was very quiet. We would definitely recommend Lilium Valley.'

'I think this is a typical hotel in this community. You get what you pay for. It felt a little bit like camping with the lack of amenities and cold water, but it’s all apart of the experience. The staff was nice. We saw the same fellow everyday I don’t think he had time off.'
