'Some challanges to find the location, but it was re-designed and looked very well. on monday the kitchen is closed which is a point because in the villages isn't much to eat. Eating is maybe not the strongest point, the continental breakfast was underneath the quality we suspected. I don't know which continent they are refering to but it looked Africa. '

'Hotel was lovely and even though we were warned and expected noise on a Sat night in December, we didn’t expect to be quite as loud as it was! We were directly above the Xmas disco room and the windows in our room were actually vibrating. On the up side they did finish promptly at midnight. Just be aware it’s not just background noise but very loud. Need more staff on at breakfast time to keep tables cleared and food stocked up. '

'The staff at The Bear Inn are terrific: it’s a family-run business and nothing was too much trouble. You soon will get to know everyone’s name a they will remember yours; it’s the little things that set a small country Inn apart from the bigger and soulless enterprises. Check-in was easy and, although we originally planned to stay for a couple of days, we were made so welcome, decided to stay for two more.
