'The rooms are modern and very clean and comfortable. As a solo female traveler I also felt very safe here and could walk around to the market, bakery and restaurants easily. I really enjoyed my stay and it was nice to have a shared kitchen where I could store food in a fridge and make coffee each morning. The staff is very friendly a responsive and helpful. They even gave me a ride to the train station when I left Catania. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to my friends and family.'

'You have to search for the entrance but if you discover this beautiful garden behind the fence, next to the church you are so surprised! Lovely pool, relaxed surroundings and beautiful trees and plants, lovely to discover all corners of the wide area. Only a few appartments so relaxing at the pool is possible. Mascalucia is a small simple town but has some nice restaurants. Great place to start for a trip to the Etna.'

'Grappig hotel met enkele kamers (8 dus). Helemaal nieuw en in topconditie. Alles werkt heel goed, inclusief een goede airco en zelfs een balkonnetje. Ontbijt Italiaans met heerlijke koffie.
Medewerkers allemaal aardig en behulpzaam. De eigenaar heeft ons gehaald van het vliegveld en kwam zelfs een uur later omdat het vliegtuig vertraging had, waar zie je dat nog! Kortom aanrader.'
'We booked 2 large and charming king sized bedrooms for the 3 of us (adults), & both rooms had private bathrooms. The baths were updated in space, with plenty of hot water & fabulous water pressure. However (typical to traditional B&B's) they were not ensuite & had no A/C; which would have been welcomed in the unusual June heat.
