Hôtel Plage de Wilmington, Carolina Beach

« The location of the hotel is great, really like the path to the beach. Nice seating areas all around the hotel. Kids enjoyed the pool. Reason I have a 3 star had two issues. First both the blankets on the beds had stains and my wife complained that one bed smelled. Also, totally our fault.. my daughter forgot a neckless and a stuffed animal in the room. We didn't notice till after we got back home, wife called the hotel they haven't seen the items. Is what it is I guess. »

« Tiki bar was great. The food from the restaurant and the drinks were awesome. »

« I called to make sure my room was on the first floor due to a recent injury. I was told my room was on the second floor but they were able to move us to a first floor room at the last minute. »

« Property was good for the two nights we stayed. It could use a little maintenance, and it was mostly very clean, except for a dirty washcloth left in the shower and a little hair around the drain. The sink was very slow to drain, but it was a nice little room for just a couple of nights. The Keurig coffee maker in the common area was great- and they provide the coffee, sugar/sweetner, creamer (we did bring our own cream), and there are dog treats and bins with lots of personal items that someone...

« We really love staying here ! This is our second time and we will definitely be back. Communication is top notch. I feel like they go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need! I also love the front porches for all the rooms. Nice to sit outside and enjoy coffee or a cold drink in the evening ❤️ »

« Check-in time was 4pm but a lot of us had to wait for later. Pool closes at 8pm which is ridiculous. Garbage stains on the wall. The weird early pool closer is what got me. Adults during the peak season should be able to swim until at least 10pm. If I go to Kure again I’d see about different lodging. »

« This is more like a motel, not a resort. There were no towels in the room at all (nor any hand soap in the bathroom) and when we went to ask about them, we were told to come back, that most of them were being laundered. There were bugs in the room. The day before we left, when it was time for us to get cleaned up to go to dinner, I went to the office for clean towels and toilet paper and no one was there so I had to grab a pool towel in order to take a shower. « Not our first stay at this location. To be 100% clear, opted for the "basic" room. Turns out...very basic, not even a chair in the room to sit. Very small, few outlets, and refrigerator door would not close once we put items inside, used my suitcase to keep it closed. It is very close to the beach, appears to be pet friendly and easy walk to the boardwalk. Check in process was last minute, inconvenient when traveling, same with the check out process. »

« I've stayed at the Courtyard hotel multiple times because I love that all the rooms are oceanfront. The hotel was at full capacity, only one elevator was working, and we waited a long time for it; this time, they didn't have enough staff to clean the rooms. »

« Hotel très agréable. Lits confortables, Couvre-lit lavé pour chaque client. Déjeuné vraiment bon et diversifié. Personnel courtois. Piscine petite mais propre, seul bémol, il ne fournissent pas les serviettes à la piscine. J'ai adoré. »

« It is a nice hotel, but I was disappointed that the shampoo bottle in the shower was empty. And, my pre-packaged bagel from the provided breakfast was so stale it fell apart in my hands. »
