For foodies, you can take a stroll to The Black Bear at Bettws Newydd, which is featured in the Michelin guide, or pub grub is available a short stroll away at The Chainbridge and for local produce a well-stocked farm shop at Craft Renaissance is just over the road. The Brecon Beacons National Park awaits where you can enjoy climbing the many hillsides to include the Skirrid and Sugar Loaf. For cyclists, you can enjoy the peaceful lanes that will take you through the picturesque villages or cycle along the canal for a more sedate trip. The area is also rich in heritage, with many castles including Chepstow, Skenfrith, Grosmont, and Raglan, and numerous beautiful churches including the remains of the stunning Tintern Abbey, just a short drive away.


Enjoy the views towards the hillsides and park your boots within the rack under the oak framed covered porchway before you step inside. The accommodation is open plan and perfect for couples or families wanting to unwind and catch up. The space has been beautifully finished with a contemporary twist. A lounge area with new large sofas adorned with scatter cushions, soft throws and further enhanced with soft lighting, there is a smart TV if you have time for a movie. An area for dining with a table and chairs set close to the bi-folding doors. The kitchen will test the best of chefs and has been well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and coffee machine. An open hallway offers access to the bedrooms both finished with soft linen and throws. A spacious super-king-size with Smart TV and en-suite shower room with WC. A super-king-size zip-and-link (that can be made into twin beds by request when booking). There is also a shower room with WC.


From the living space, you can open the bi-folding doors onto the enclosed terrace, where you can entertain and enjoy dining outside with a table and chairs set for four. There is an automatic mower to keep the grass in tip top condition. There is off road parking for two cars and ample additional parking if necessary.
