17 Jefferson St.: This beautiful 6 Bedroom and 3 Bathroom (4 in summer), Victorian era home is just 4 houses from Cape May’s finest family beach and a short walk to its best shops and restaurants. When not at the beach, you will be enjoying the home’s large porch with its seven rockers, full hammock, and big views of the ocean. The house sleeps up to 15 and has a driveway with off-street parking for 4-5 cars (!)

We bought the house in Spring 2010 and have invested heavily in renovations and new furniture to make this a superb rental - over $600,000 to date. Virtually every area of the house has been renewed, inside and out. In October 2023, we bought all new living room furniture, including new leather recliners (tasteful). During winter 2024, we rebuilt the front deck, replaced the master's windows, refinished nearly all the floors, and rebuilt the floor of the outside shower. Despite all the changes, our goal is always to keep the 1890 look and feel of the house.

At the same time, we've tried to make the house as comfortable for our guest as possible. The kitchen is well stocked. The game, puzzle, library is also well stocked. There are quality TVs (3), high-speed mesh wifi for streaming, blu-ray DVD players (with a nice library of DVDs) and cable package. There's a Bose bluetooth speaker in the living room and master for music. We keep lots beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach toys for all to use.

Guests will need to bring sheets, pillow cases, towels, and beach towels for their visit. There is a good linen service in town (Sea Dreams), if this is more convenient.
