'Great location. Quiet and peaceful.'

'Felt front desk unwelcoming and not friendly. Check in and check out. We were on the last leg of our trip and all night long someone or something walked the top floor above us ALL night. Didn’t sleep at all. I wouldn’t recommend this place. So disappointed. '

'I've stayed in several of the "main" hotels on Ocracoke and this was my favorite stay! The room was incredibly clean and housekeeping came by daily to keep it fresh. Quiet but also conveniently located. A great stay especially for families with kids!'

'If you are not expecting much then this is the place for you. Humid unless the a/c runs at 68 degrees and uncomfortable beds and ratty carpet and old appliances. '

'The house had an unpleasant odor, the kitchen pots were not very clean, and there were no blankets provided for sleeping, which was inconvenient. If the host could improve the cleanliness of the kitchen, freshen up the house, and ensure blankets are available, it would make the stay much more comfortable.'

'We stayed in a smaller room with no kitchen access, we had a mini fridge and coffee maker. We were shocked by no hair dryer available due to previous theft of items. We enjoyed the staff as he helped us with getting access into our room even after obtaining a key card the door would still not open for us. Clean and beds were fairly comfortable, we stayed for a minimal time and it was fair for price. '

'I've been coming to this resort for many years when it was part of our timeshare. I can say they have really improved the property since they're pulling out of the timeshare business. It was cleaner, just overall better quality. Wonderful check-in and contact with the hosts. I would definitely come here again.'

'Breakfast was poor quality and limited choices. Staff was good to deal with. Homeless guy in the back parking lot hanging around. Bed sheets havent been changed in a while, just remade, watched it happen between guests in other rooms. Again staff was good. Over all, not a bad place to stay. there is risk anywhere you go. This seemed minimal.'
