Thanksgiving Week Getaway

The house is upgraded and clean. It has all the amenities you could ask for to feel comfortable and at home. It’s located in the heart of the action. Quiet area with beautiful Peacock visits daily. Close to the beach, the shopping, great restaurants and grocery stores. The ping pong table, pool and outdoor area are perfect to entertain the family. Beds were comfortable and showers refreshing. Beautifully decorated and cozy. Overall, a wonderful rental, you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend. Thank you for a memorable family vacation.

Great stay

We loved our stay at this property! The house was clean, fun (pool and game room), comfortable, beautiful backyard, close to a great beach, and had some very friendly neighborhood peacocks. Nice, quiet neighborhood, but still close to stores and restaurants.

Awesome property

This house was perfect for us! Close to the beach and the pool was great! The property was just as it said in the listing. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. Checking in and out was a breeze. Bruce was very responsive. Saw a launch from the front yard and one from the beach. We also loved seeing all the peacocks. Looking forward to staying here again!

Coffee watching peacocks. Rocket night launch veiwed from front lawn. Great place. Kids loved pool and game room. Enough room. Everything you need was there!!! Beach buckets to pool toys. Quiet neighborhood. Walks to the beach. We had a wonderful time!!!

Tolles Pool, leider ĂŒberall im Haus und Garten Hundehaare

Wir genossen einen tollen Aufenthalt. Pool war herrlich warm. Leider hatte es im ganzen Haus Hundehaare und das Sofa roch stark nach Hund. Schade... sonst wÀre es ein super Ferienhaus. Das Internet funktionierte leider auch nicht.. Reparatur war im Gange.

Good, Pool is NOT Heated

We had a great time at this property, the game room was awesome, the back patio was nice and there were peacocks everywhere. However, we were super disappointed that the pool was not heated like the listing states. The week we stayed was unreasonably cold for Florida. So we didn’t get to use the pool at all during our stay, which defeated the purpose of staying somewhere with a pool. So, don’t be fooled, if booking in the winter it may be too cold to swim because the pool is NOT heated.

6th Annual Thanksgiving Family Vacation

My family of 7 had a very enjoyable and comfortable, relaxing time on our annual Thanksgiving Trip. The pool was amazing. Kids swam through the rain and I swam in the peace and quiet under the stars at night. The water pressure was amazing making for wonderful showers, everything was perfectly organized making it easy for my family to put things back exactly where they found them. We had everything we needed for our feast for dishes, cooking utensils, and even spices that we forgot to bring. The kids loved the hot cocoa packets the hosts left out to enjoy especially because it rained almost everyday. But never did our 5 kids get bored because along with swimming in the sun and rain the game room was loved by all. The beach was a fun bike ride away and the bikes were in excellent condition, but my husband was grateful for the free parking by the beach entrance. We caught a shuttle launch loved the peacocks and egrets in the yard. This place was perfect in every way we definitely recommend staying here for family vacations!

Nice home and very convenient.

My son and I stayed at the Peacock Inn for a baseball tournament at Space Coast Stadium. The location was convenient to the field only taking about 30 minutes. The pool was nice for us after a long day in the heat, since we aren’t big on the beach sand. We even got to see a rocket launch! Our fur babies were also comfortable with plenty of yard to play. Though we didn’t need the whole house, we were able to get it booked quickly with Bruce after our previous reservation had to cancel due to plumbing issues, while keeping the same amenities. There was nothing that I missed from home, while staying for 10 days. The local peacocks are no bother and feel like house pets. There was never less than 2 in the yard at all times and sometimes even little babies! They were a nice touch and quite beautiful to see everyday. We would most definitely stay again!

Cape Canaveral - Peacock Harbor

Peacock Harbor was a great home away from home. Located about 1/2 mile from Cape Canaveral Beach, this rental property offered just about everything we could hope for at a reasonable price given short location from the ocean and highways. Located less than an hour from Orlando, the location of this rental routinely proved hard to beat during our stay. Grocery, liquor, and other shopping were only blocks away. The Cocoa Beach pier only a few minutes beyond that. We were pleasantly surprised to find a beach cart, chair, beach umbrella, beach toys and towels, boogie boards, and beach bikes for the adults. Beach parking was easily available in the mornings, but plan to walk or ride in the afternoon. We settled into a routing of dropping off the family and gear in the beach cart from our car, driving home, and then simply riding a bike back walking back to the beach. It's less than a 10 minute walk in sandy flip flops. Rocket launches were easily visible from the front porch, or Cape Canaveral beach. We cannot recommend trying to catch a launch in person, as the sights and sounds were incredible at that close of a distance. Definitely a bucket list item for the space afficionados among us! After a long day at the beach we could easily clean up outside with a shower (you will be sandy if coming from the beach), and then settle in for an evening swim in the pool. Usually while enjoying the backyard grill and evening shade. Indoors provided just enough room to enjoy some quiet, or kick off some family games with air hockey, table tennis, or darts. The peacocks were always entertaining, curious, and friendly. The kids loved them and provided hours of entertainment. Thankfully the seemed to bed down through the evening hours, so they weren't keeping anyone awake. One male in particular was incredibly entertaining during the day, constantly dancing and strutting for attention (he became known as Pretty Boy, or PB). The neighborhood was quiet, clean, and well maintained. If a house near the beach with a private pool, entertaining wildlife, and easy access to Cape Canaveral or Cocoa Beach is your jam, look no further! The property hosts were quick to respond, always available, and more than happy to help us settle in! We look forward to returning to the area in the future, and enjoying all this rental has to offer near one of the best beaches on Space Coast!
