« The ad on Vrbo was slightly misleading. It wasn't clear that it was on the Melia Tortuga resort, so we were worried that it might have been above the Reggae Bar. We needn't have worried.The flat was fantastic, the location is perfect - you get use of Tortuga facilities whilst being fully self-catering. Splendid west-facing beach. Walking distance of Santa Maria, with a real African vibe, and a South-facing beach. Taxis 5 euros each way. There's a supermarket close by, in the complex opposite the...

« We were met at the airport and taken to our apartment. Really nice and airy, nicely decorated with good shower and comfortable bed and all the things you need to self cater. Brilliant double glazed window tilted so could be left open all day but when closed blocked out any noise. Right next to beach and with a nice garden with parasol to sit out in. Fruit/veg sellers came to just outside the apartment every morning and there is a brilliant bakery 10 minutes away and a stunning juice/snack...

« Fint ophold. Der var lige lidt mangler ved ankomst men vi kontaktede udlejer og han kom inden for en time og fixede det hele. Selve resortet er super lÊkkert og smukt. Man bor nede i "bunden" vÊk fra stranden sÄ man fÄr hurtigt gÄet sine 10.000 skridt hvis man tÞffer lidt rundt pÄ hotellet. Vi har ikke vÊret sÊrlig begejstrede for selve resort-personalet i receptionen - de var svÊre at kommunikerer med. Men overall virkelig fint til prisen. Dejlig destination! »

« The studio apartment was located in a nice area and the host was helpful with check in. However, the apartment is extremely hot, with just one little fan in there. When we got there the shower was clogged, not a great start after a long flight. The owner did send maintenance to fix it. Then the WiFi did not work most of the time. Overall, it was just uncomfortable and we ended up leaving after 2 days »
