'The stay in the stables is poor, even for a low-budget version of the castle. The rooms are very noisy, not only noises from the guests next door (even if they do it quietly) but also from the noisy staff who start preparing breakfast at just after 6:00 am. Lots of loud talking and the radio on. The breakfast itself is good, but the breakfast location (the stable) is cold, (coincidentally?) the heating is partly defective, especially when the stable doors open on both sides because guests also...

'We were asked if we had a car, we said yes. We were told where to park it. It wasnt until we checked out that our card was charged for parking. No mention that there would be a cost involved.
The place was a bed in a room which is all we needed for the night. Location is not in the nice part of town.'

'We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderfully quirky haven. The bath at night with candles is a must do. Soaking amidst the plants is so relaxing before bed. We loved the visits from the two house cats Bacon and Purrgeot So lovely to have nice sourdough bread, fresh eggs and everything needed for a lovely breakfast. Recommend this place and would love to come back again thanks Chris for such a special little place'
