'A nice friendly farm B and B. I was in the anex which was a 1st floor room with the bath room below. It had a whirlpool bath. I found everything clean and usable. It had a small cupboard style kitchenette which was nice with a sink element and plates, cups and cutlery with tea and coffee. The breakfast was in the main farm house next door which was nice and cooked to order by the host who was very helpful and polite. All in all I would use this accommodation again. Thanks '

'Just DON’T. We were misled by pics and text - paid £102 for a shoebox room with minimal facilities and staff not overly helpful. We chose as it looked like they had a Greek restaurant plus steaks - turned up to be told they only do pizzas! We went somewhere else to eat. No breakfast as we are told the toaster isn’t working! Total joke of a place. Didn’t even give them any trade arms the bar. Never to return. '

'Clean room. Friendly and helpful hostess. V.good breakfasts, choice and quality. Quiet location with short walk to good pub. Forest of Dean is interesting area between Wye and Severn with a special history. Easy access to Monmouthshire. You may see harmless wild boar Can't miss the evidence of roadside grass verges dug up in their search for food.'

'The hotel is a bit dated in the rooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was always good and plentiful. Cleaning was poor, never vacuumed in five days, tables were left dirty, sheets never changed. Also there was mold on the window sills and my allergies acted up. A bit pricey for this level of room.'

'We have had a nice stay at the Old fleece. The apartment is just above the pub, but you won't hear any noise from it. The apartment is large and well equipped, eg dishwasher, microwave, oven, large screen with Netflix. Unfortunately it's hard to heat the room because there is just a small heating and as it's an old building cold air and noise find their way through the (window)frames. '

'Lovely bright and airy 2 bed apartment with balcony. Great location opposite the park with a few minute walk into Gloucester centre and quays. Very clean with good amenities apart from lacking a dishwasher .. which on this occasion was not a problem for us as we only stayed 2 nights and eat out. Easy parking in property’s own car park. Did ask about parking for an extra car but wasn’t too happy about the location or tidiness of this as looked run down with rubbish and nails etc on the ground...
