The space

Welcome to our beautifully refurbished garden studio, a cosy and thoughtfully designed space with everything you need for a comfortable stay in Cambridge. Perfect for couples, solo travellers or corporate guests looking for their own private base close to the city centre.

The studio is completely self contained and has been newly refurbished throughout. Inside you will find a comfortable sleeping and seating area with Smart TV, a fold out dining table seating two and a private bathroom with shower.

The kitchenette has everything you need for preparing simple meals, including a hob, microwave, air fryer, fridge and washing machine. Please note there is no conventional oven. Tea, coffee and sugar making facilities are also provided for your arrival.

Outside, the studio has its own private, fully fenced garden area with seating for two, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.

Location within the property and shared access

We want guests to fully understand the layout before booking. The studio sits at the rear of a larger three bedroom Victorian property, which is also offered as guest accommodation and may be occupied during your stay.

The studio itself and its garden are completely separate and securely fenced from the main house and garden. However, access to the studio is via the same gated side alleyway used by guests staying in the main house.

Due to the traditional layout of Victorian terraced homes in central Cambridge, our next door neighbours also have access through the alleyway and part of the main garden to reach the rear of their property and bring bicycles in and out. Our neighbours are lovely and the area is generally very quiet, but you may occasionally see people coming and going as you make your way to the studio.

The main house garden sits on the other side of the studio’s fence, so if guests are staying in the house you may occasionally hear them enjoying their garden. Your own outdoor area, however, remains private and fully fenced.

We feel the studio offers the best of both worlds: a secluded and private little space tucked away from the road, while being incredibly well located for everything Cambridge has to offer.

Booking with the main house

If you are travelling as part of a larger group, we also have a separate listing which combines the studio with the main three bedroom house, creating a fantastic four bedroom stay with two separate living spaces, two bathrooms, two kitchen areas and additional outdoor space.

Please feel free to enquire if you would like to book both. If the combined listing is not showing as available for your dates, this may mean the main house has already been booked separately.

Please note that parties and events are strictly prohibited. We ask guests to be considerate of those staying in the main house and our neighbours, and to enjoy the studio as a peaceful and comfortable Cambridge base.
