'Prima hotel als uitvalsbasis in en om Buffalo. Dichtbij metro en bus om downtown te komen. Er is ook een gratis shuttle van het hotel. Hotel is omgeven door het ziekenhuis dus niet heel sfeervol. Onze kamer zat aan de achterkant waardoor wel wat geluid van de ventilatie hoorbaar was. Maar met raam dicht gaf dit geen overlast. Enige minpunt was het ontbijt. Dit was erg karig. Er was weinig keuze en wat er te kiezen was, was al grotendeels op om 8:30 en werd niet meer bijgevuld. '

'You have to park two blocks away in a ramp and pay.. my car got broken into while I stayed two nights broke my car door lock that was the biggest downside the property itself is fine. The breakfast is good for a hotel.'

'Stayed one night for a conference in the hotel. Nice big rooms, shower worked well, ironing board and iron. Windows. Black out curtains would have been nice. There were only privacy curtains. But I was so tired it did not matter.'

'This property was described on Expedia as a boutique hotel. It is a large former mental asylum built in 1880. In the lobby there are pictures of patients, artifacts that belonged to the patients, and stories about horrific episodes during their time in the asylum. Many patients were women who were committed by their husbands in the 1920s and 1930s for being “hysterical housewives” and received electroshock treatment as a cure.
