« We really enjoyed our stay at Ciala Resort. The grounds are lovely. The rooms are comfortable. The food is good and the staff are EXCELLENT (kind, thoughtful and attentive). We were in Kisumu for a wedding and didn’t spend much time at the property, but in the moments we had we enjoyed the pool and the gym. Breakfast was good with both local and international choices. « Our room was spacious, and came with a working refrigerator and hot pot. We had electrical outlets to the left and right of the bed which was very helpful for all the devices we need to charge. Outside there is wonderful green space so you can ealk around the hotel grounds for exercise. The food was the only drawback. If it was choma, then it was excellent but the regular kitchen was standard fare. All of it took 1-1 1/2 hours to prepare and they didnt take your order till they opened at 6pm...

« No ocean view, noisy, rooms were disappointing, no hot water, wifi was not working and there was poor communication during check in, in regards to expedia pricing vs property management wanting to charge and additional amount for the amount. »
