Georgetown Lake Retreat

The perfect place to relax, recharge and recreate!

We have a newly remodeled lake house in the popular Edwards Tract neighborhood at Georgetown Lake. This house is ready for your family or group with sleeping for 10.

The master bedroom features a queen bed and full bathroom. The loft bedroom has a built-in king bed. The front bedroom has two queen beds and views of the lake. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the main living area.

The well equipped kitchen is brand new with soft-close drawers and doors and branch new GE Slate appliances. A full-size laundry set is provided in the main bathroom. As a bonus, there is a kid's play rom above the master bath that we call the "Awesomeness Room."

This quirky house has a steep driveway, steep stairs to the loft and a steep ladder to the kids play loft, so may not be suitable for families with very young children. In the winter, we'd recommend a car with 4-wheel drive and snow tires to navigate the driveway.

Unique Benefits:

Located between beautiful Philipsburg and Anaconda, Montana, Georgetown Lake is a true four-season recreation area. Georgetown Lake itself is the best lake fishery in the state of Montana, with more fish caught per fisherman than any other lake. The famous Rock Creek is also nearby for those that prefer river fishing. There is extensive mountain bike and hiking trails, along with ATV and motorcycle access in the summer, and hundreds of miles of snowmobiling trails in the winter. Discovery, an excellent family ski hill, is only 15 minutes away, which also offers a fantastic downhill bike park in the summer. The best golf course in Montana is just down the road at Old Works, the best hot springs around at Fairmont, and closer by the kids' favorite candy store and toy store in 20 minutes away in Philipsburg. The Anaconda-Pintler Wilderness area with abundant wildlife and fantastic fishing and backcountry skiing is just to the south of Georgetown Lake Retreat as well.

The entire house is well thought out and so functional!! Incredibly cozy and perfect for our family hangout. Excellent yard for the kids. This lake cabin is darling! The decor is perfect for summer or winter visits. We enjoyed the proximity to the fishing access as that was our primary activity. The beds are comfortable and the living area quite large. Outside decks were great too. And I can’t even begin to describe the well stocked kitchen! It puts my home kitchen to shame! It had everything and more…Also there are wild flowers off the deck facing the lake. Nice touch! We will be back.

Perfectly wonderful

I have stayed at this house with one of my sisters several times. We come to visit another sister and her husband who have lived at Georgetown Lake for 25 years. We love the house. It is always welcoming, clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The view is terrific. I am not used to it snowing every day in May, and that was an added element of beauty. Others in the family have stayed at this house too, and appreciate it.

Georgetown Disco Weekend

Beautiful property and so well set up. Communication prior to arrival was prompt and helpful. Great use of the space for both sleeping areas and common space. Easy to spend time with everyone or in smaller groups. The kitchen is WELL stocked with supplies and cookware galore. Plenty of extra blankets for cozying up by the fire. For those with dogs, the yard is not fenced, but easy to go out and walk about as needed. Would happily plan to stay again.

Christmas at Georgetown

We stayed here for our first Christmas away from home! We are from Anaconda originally and knew how beautiful Georgetown lake would be over Christmas! This place met all of our needs! When they tell you the driveway is steep they mean it! Thankfully there is an alternative route which was what we ended using the rest of the stay. Very cozy and beautiful views! Would stay here again!
