'I would not recommend this place unless you are on a really tight budget. The only nice thing about it was the kind person who checked us in. The room was dingy and smelled faintly of smoke. The smoke alarm was chirping and I had to borrow tools to disconnect it so we could sleep. There was constant noise throughout the night from other guests, and the whole place smelled like weed.'

'I stay at the AC Hotel often for medical follow ups at Duke. It’s clean, comfortable, easy walking or driving distance to the hospital with restaurants all around. The staff is courteous and helpful and there’s a full breakfast buffet and coffee downstairs in the morning. They also allow pets. I’ve tried a few other hotels in the area over the past few years and now just stay at the AC every time. '
