In addition to its pristine beaches, Bude boasts a unique tidal pool and a canal that you can explore from the towpath on foot or on the water by kayak, canoe or pedalo. Ramblers will want to venture to the coastal path or head into the countryside for all kinds of scenic trails. In the nearby area you can fish, play golf, try coasteering, and go cycling. Further afield, there are numerous attractions, including the picturesque village of Clovelly, the magical Tintagel Castle, and the Milky Way Adventure Park (all within 18 miles).

The cottage is set on a charming farm complex and is arranged over two storeys. Its attractive decor features coastal tones combined with natural materials such as oak floors and timber furnishings, while underfloor heating creates maximum cosiness. Once inside, head straight up the stairs to find the open-plan living area, with its vaulted ceiling and original beams. In this light and airy space, you’ll have a choice of comfortable seating and a Smart TV to stream your favourite shows. At one end of the living space, the kitchen provides everything necessary for holiday cooking, whether it’s quick snacks or gourmet meals, while the dining table provides plenty of space to sit down together and relish every bite. Back down on the ground floor, two inviting bedrooms both offer TVs for lazy mornings. Choose from a master double room with an en-suite shower room, and a cosy twin served by a family shower room.

The splendid rear garden offers plenty of room to relax outside. Gather at the furnished patio for al fresco meals and evening tipples, and let dogs find a shaded spot on the lawn. Children will enjoy the shared play area, and you’ll also benefit from off-road parking for one car.

- Fire pits available for up to 8 people on each - £10 charge for logs

- Travel cot and high chair available upon request

- On-site shell studio: sessions are up to 2 hours long, and items can be made from £5

- Off-road parking for 1 car

- Essentials shop on site, 24 hour shell deli 1mile, pub 1.1 miles and beach 1.8 miles

- Please note – dogs should be kept on leads while outside the cottage and within the grounds. For dog walking, a suitable farm track surrounds the grounds
