Peacefull hilltop cottage with huge ocean views!

  • A hilltop setting among the pines, great for a romantic get-a-way or a serine, getaway for the individual. The property is extremely private with expansive ocean views from every window and a relaxing patio for sunsets. Above the fog line (usually). 3 miles to the beach and 4 to town. Many guests find themselves, just hanging out, a very relaxing and soothing property. Many birds including Pileated woodpecker and Quail. Incredible night skies! Very, very clean (my wife) and comfortable. See photos. Every year we plant new flowers, lots of new improvements, new heating system, new hot water heater, new bed and bedding and new paint. As hosts, we respect your privacy and will strive to make you as comfortable as possible.

Comfortable and clean with a beautiful view. Everything we needed to eat in and a list of restaurants if we wanted to go out. Flowers and hummingbirds rounded out a great time. We enjoyed our stay.

We loved this little cottage in the woods! Super clean and furnished with all you need. There are beautiful views of the ocean, forest, luscious flowers and it’s very peaceful and relaxing! We would stay again!

This cottage is a little piece of heaven! It’s so relaxing, anything you need is provided and Steven is such a sweet man! The views from the patio of the ocean and the top of the largest sea stack near lone ranch beach in the distance is amazing! We cooked steaks on the BBQ on the patio one evening and there are some great restaurants in town (Brookings) I would recommend this property we plan on coming back to stay here!

The views are amazing and the property as well. Very well kept up. Loved our stay but wished it were longer. A little off the beaten path but that’s the beauty of it. The hosts seemed very friendly and nice. Great first Vrbo experience!

A really special cottage with fantastic views over coastal forest to the ocean. Flawless and would have liked to have stayed longer.

This cottage was wonderful! We enjoyed our stay. It is in a very peaceful setting with views of the sea. There are many beautiful flowers in window boxes along the porch. The furniture was very comfortable and it is quaint decor. There was a bit of confusion on my end previous to check-in, as we normally receive advance directions from the host on how to access the property, but it was cleared up after I spoke with Stephen on the phone. I would love to come back someday and stay here again. Perfect for a getaway with your significant other!

Hosts Steven and Beth are great, super nice and accommodating. Views to the ocean are really good, though facing a bit more south. Good area for birding. Driving to Samuel Boardman Corridor is easy and into Brookings about 10 minutes drive. Very peaceful stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful and relaxing stay. The outdoor scenery was super lush with views from every angle. The inside was very spacious, and the kitchen was great for cooking! There were lots of cool nearby sights, such as secluded beach views that Steven generously recommended. Overall, the area was very immersive with the surrounding nature. We even got to see a baby bear about 3 minutes out. We had such a good time and would recommend the place to anyone!
