Step straight out from the doorstep to go walking, cycling or wildlife watching. Venture into Brockenhurst to hire bikes, stock up on local Hampshire produce or have a bite to eat. Follow a myriad of footpaths and trails through the forest, looking out for roaming ponies as you go. Whitefield Moor, 2 miles away, is a beauty spot worth visiting. Make time to visit Beaulieu, 7 miles away, too. Lymington, 6 miles away, is a colourful place to shop and dine out. Head to the beach at Milford on Sea, 9 miles away, to swim and enjoy the views of the Isle of Wight.


Tear yourself away from the wonderful scenery to step into the cottage via the kitchen. This stylish galley-style space has been cleverly arranged with all the equipment and accessories you will need for whipping up romantic meals for two. Carry your meals through to the table in the lounge/diner and enjoy them as you look out over the countryside. Recline on the comfortable L-shaped sofa afterwards as you read your books, chat or find a good film on the Smart TV. Prop open the outside door here to bring in a cool breeze during the warmer months. When you are ready to retire for the night, your beautifully decorated king-size bedroom awaits.
