'We stayed at the Doubletree Hilton hotel for 1 night and were very pleased. We booked a standard room which was clean and had all the necessary accomodations you would expect (water cooker, coffee, tea, iron, ironing board, vault,…). The room itself was rather small (we travelled with 1 large suitcase, 1 small and 2 backpacks) but the layout of the room was good providing even enough space next to the bed to open the large suitecase. There were enough power supplies (we counted 14 power outlets...

'Our room was clean but rather gloomy. The old furniture was oppressive and the TV could have been fixed to the wall and a more practical chest of drawers to replace the table it occupied. The bed was in need of a new mattress but the pillows were decent and the crisp white bedding was nice to climb into. The shower room was huge, with a good shower unit. However the hot water from the sink tap seems to originate in Bristol, it took so long to arrive. We ate in the restaurant and the food was hot...
