River Mountain Lodge Horseshoe Gulch Condo is a spacious, two-level deluxe condo with a great view of the slopes from the patio; it’s perfect for small families or groups up to four! There’s a full kitchen with granite counters, two bathrooms, and a large flat-screen TV. The dining table seats four, and there’s room for three at the counter for a quick breakfast or après-ski snack. You’ll also enjoy the in-unit washer/dryer, complimentary Wi-Fi, underground parking (one car) with elevator access, a fitness center, an outdoor heated pool, and hot tubs. Every Summit Mountain Rentals property comes stocked with plenty of linens, towels and hotel-like toiletries, and is professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival. Our helpful staff is also available 24 hours a day to ensure you have everything you need to make your stay with us an unforgettable experience.

Perfect location, perfect size for a family of 4. love the hot tubs and the ski in. There were a few things not working (appliances) but communication was good. We were told washing machine and dishwasher will be replaced after our stay so go and rent the place, all brand new :)

Overall, we had a pretty good experience staying here for a ski trip and would do it again. Nice condo, convenient location, very courteous front desk staff, several hot tubs, etc.However, the drywall ceiling above the Murphy bed was damaged (appeared to be from a previous water leak) and we learned from a maintenance guy that it was old damage that had never been repaired. A large flake of paint happened to fall on the bed overnight and it made a bit of a mess when it fell apart. The management company was pretty quick to check it out to make sure there wasn't a leak, but I didn't hear back from them on a resolution. It's probably going to continue coming apart until repaired, impacting future guests.

Location had some great benefits with the bus (both directions by crossing the street) and the town readily available. Unfortunately for our stay the snow was sparse so lower 4 O'Clock was closed so we had to bus out at the end of the day. Brand new toilets, and a very comfortable bed. The washer and dryer are old but worked fine (be sure to bring detergent) for our base layers and socks. The front desk staff were nice and hospitable. The downside is the TV and internet wasn't up to par. The smoke detector was too sensitive as a toasted bagel activated it (twice). Though it's winter, be sure to use the ceiling fan to help circulate the heat (once it warms up). The spiral staircase is charming but we ended up leaving our suitcases downstairs as it was narrow and tough to navigate. We wouldn't hesitate to rent again especially with more snow to ski back.

Good location, clean place.

This review is specifically for skiers - it is the info I look for when booking a ski in/ski out resort.This condo is at the bottom of 4 O'clock run - just across the street. The gondola is about 2 blocks away. Very walkable for snowboarders - a bit of a slog for skiers carrying skis and wearing ski boots. As skiers, we took the frequent busses in front of the lodge to either the gondola or Peak 7 or 8.The lodging is not fancy, but is clean and adequate accommodations with easy access to the slopes and the town of Breckenridge. Nice indoor parking.

Keep carbon dioxide alarms maintained

At about 3:30 AM, the carbon monoxide/fire detector was alarming with a loud beep every 30 seconds or so. My two year old granddaughter was woken up and frantic, along with my sister and I. I found a chair to dislodge the detectors trying to shut the sound off before the fire department arrived! Please keep these devices maintained so that the alarms don’t go off in the middle of the night! I was finally able to locate the wall detector that was beeping and unplugged it. Even then, I was kept up wondering if we had a gas leak! Needless to say, my granddaughter was awake the rest of the early morning until we checked out. Our trip was wonderful until that last evening/morning. I feel that because of the negligence of keeping the alarm system maintained, our trip ended on a very low note.

Great condo; perfect location!

Perfect location for a couple of small family or a couple of friends to escape to Breck. Great layout and absolutely perfect location for a winter or summer stay. Right off Main St so super convenient access to restaurants, shops, etc. Absolutely perfect for skiing as there is a shuttle stop at the lodge, and 4:00 ends literally across the street. Would definitely stay here again

Great location and space for a family!

We stayed in Breckenridge for a weekend soccer game and this location is unmatched to walk around town! We loved having a big open space with 2 bathrooms for a family of 4. Check in was a breeze and communication was great! We would absolutely stay again!
