Welcome to our beautiful custom lodge in the prestigious Highlands at Breckenridge development. The Moose Crossing Lodge sits in a peaceful yet convenient location near the Breckenridge Golf Course and Gold Run Nordic Center. Wildlife abounds in our area and if you are lucky you may get to experience a few sightings while in our home.

This home is a short 3.5 mile drive from the Breck Connect Gondola where there is plenty of parking for skiing and the town of Breckenridge. The town of Breckenridge offers an array of activities plus shopping, dining and nightlife.

This home was designed by one of the best architects in the Breckenridge area so flow and function are top notch. Two separate living area's both with wet bars provide enough space for large groups to spread out. Foosball table for those looking to game at the house plus HDTV's with cable for viewing pleasure. High Speed Broadband internet connection with WIFI.

Due to the custom nature of this home no expense was spared in the immaculate finishes and furnishings of this home. If you are looking for a high quality luxury home at an incredible value to spend your Rocky Mountain vacation there is no need to look any further than the Moose Crossing Lodge.

FREE GREEN ROUTE SHUTTLE BUS!!! The Highlands now has a Free bus service to the Gondola twice an hour. The Green Route will pick you up and drop you off at the Gold Run Nordic Center/Golf Club House twice an hour. This is only located 1 mile from the house or a 3 minute drive.

The pick-up at the stop is 25 minutes after the hour and 55 minutes after the hour.

The pick up at the Gondola to bring you back is at 15 and 45 after the hour.

The ride takes about 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Please use it when you can. No need to jockey for a parking spot in town!

Was very good, clean had all the right amount of stuff. I would say the outside lights being off at 9pm seems strange... We had family coming into town one night and wanted the lights on so they could see where to come. Other than that worth the stay!

Fabulous House

We have been bringing our 3 adult grandchildren and their spouses to Breckinridge to ski for the past 5 years. This house was spacious, beautiful, spotlessly clean and perfect for the 8 of us. Everyone LOVED the heated floors--perfect for running around in socks. We have found "our" place and will be back next year!!

Ski New Years Family vacation

Overall not bad but few issues do need addressing. Second smaller bedroom on main level is COLD (our visit was in December/New Years) and adjusting thermostat did nothing and the fireplace in this bedroom is only for looks (nonfunctional). This same bedroom is not a true bedroom-no closet just a furniture armoire in a corner and the room is tiny but we made it work. The rest of the house is hot at night no matter thermostat setting. Downstairs is especially hot at night no matter thermostat setting so need windows opened. Neighbors are quick to complain (Karens are watching). Not enough larger wine glasses. If you drink cabernet then take your own red wine glasses cause the ones provided are for champagne or port only. The master bedroom on main level has big shower but the hot water gets cold fast especially if others have recently showered-this is a major bummer. It doesnt run out of hot water it just turns colder minute by minute so constant adjusting of water temp is needed. Overall the house was good despite the above remarks and we had a great time (2 families and a set of grandparents). Its about 5 minutes from town so its quiet and garage is big enough to hold 2 large SUVs. I would recommend this property and the only reason I hesitate to give it a perfect rating is because of the above shortcomings. Clean and up to date appliances and comfie beds.

Highlands

There were nine of us, four “adults” and five boys, ages 18-20. The five bedrooms worked really well for us. The two master suites worked well for the adults and the other three bedrooms were plenty of rooms for the boys. The view from the back deck in the morning was fantastic. The boys really enjoyed the spa at the end of the day. The boys stayed downstairs most of the time which was nice. Overall, a perfect fit and great accommodations.

Great house for a family ski vacation!

The house was as stated, our group was very pleased with it. We were 2 families of 4 and a set of grandparents. The bedroom arrangement was perfect. The younger families with the kids were all able to stay downstairs. The kids loved the foosball table! They had their own TV on and fireplace and could be as loud as they wanted without disturbing the grandparents upstairs. The adults loved the wet bar in the downstairs den as well. The main floor was very roomy with plenty of seating in the den and the dining area. The mud room was also perfect for all of our jackets and boots. There were plenty of dishes and spices for us to use. The only complaint was a need for more big utensils (cooking spoons) and bathroom washcloths. Ryan was very easy to work with and answered our text/call very promptly (even in the evening!) I would definitely recommend this house.

Wonderful Home Base

This was a great property to relax in while enjoying the winter wonderland around us. So long as you go in knowing it is a little longer drive to get to the slopes/town, nothing bad to say. The Wi-Fi was a little unstable at times, but not sure if that was an issue with the home or the internet provider. Overall, it was an excellent property for two families, a total of eight people, to enjoy.

Comfortable house in quiet setting with beautiful mountain views

One of the nicest things about this house was the two separate living areas so a large family could spend down time doing different things. It also had plenty of space to park 3 cars. We were there for Thanksgiving week and found pans, dishes, some baking pans and a hand mixer and blender all helpful in the making Thanksgiving dinner. There are tons of regular water glasses but only 5 wine glasses which seemed strange for a house that says it sleeps 12. Also, there were only 6 towels for the hot tub. The one queen bedroom seemed to be more of a den with a bed in it. No closet, dresser or easy access to more than a half bath. We made it work, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. The management company was very good about telling us directions and instructions ahead of time. We would recommend this house despite these few issues that can be easily resolved by either management or owner.
