Shorewalk Vacation Condo 15 Minutes to Bradenton Beach Ground Floor

Enjoy the beautiful downstairs 2 bed and 2 bath condo 5 minutes away from IMG Academy and 15 min to the Beach on Anna Maria Island and Longboat Key. The resort features 2 heated swimming pools, 2 Jacuzzi's, 2 tennis courts, basketball court, children’s playground and shuffleboard, a clubhouse which offers ping pong, inside pool table room, BBQ grills at the Clubhouse. The Property is ideally situated close to all Shops, Restaurants, Bars and local amenities.

In this downstairs unit, you will find 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, of which a parental continuation with dressing room. The kitchen is equipped (dishwasher, oven, microwaves, refrigerator, toaster, blender ...) with the dishes for 6 people. The kitchen goes on on a corner to have breakfast, and the living room opens on a patio in front of a lake. The accommodation has the air-conditioning and furthermore, each bedroom as well as the main room and the patio are equipped with a fan. A WiFi access is provided.

You will have access to both swimming pools of the complex as well as to both spas. Two BBQ are at your disposal at the clubhouse desk on reservation. You will also have access to 2 tennis courts (with possible loan of rackets, ping-pong, billiard, a half ground of basketball, ground petanque, shuffle and playground for the children...
For information, you will be asked a $10 deposit to obtain a pool pass allowing you the access to swimming pools.
This deposit will be restored to you at your departure on your request, do not forget!

Shorewalk is established of several small two-floor buildings implanted around several lakes. The residence is secured. It has the advantage to be located very close to the IMG Academy, this very well known training center created by Nick Bollettieri, for number of high-level sportsmen, particularly the tennis players.

Car is recommended. There is uber and buses in the area.
10 min by car can get you to the Bradenton beach.

The picture of the unit was probably phioto shoppied ir 30 years ago.

The shower dribbler, the toilet was not secure, both in master bedroom, the unit sleeps 6 but if two people took a shower we would run out of hot water. My husband finder 2 out of the 4 high top chairs that were missing screws. One of the dining chairs has a cushion that fells off. It sleeps six & they had only 4 bath towels so I had to do laundry on my vacation!

Wish we went somewhere else

Asked for an early check in and the owner said 2 pm. Arrive at the condo at 2:30 pm the lock code did not work. Had to go to the office for them to call the owner about the lock code. Get into the condo and the place is has not been cleaned. Call the owner and she says the check in time is 4 pm. The cleaning crew arrives and attempts to put the bed spreads back onto the beds that were laying on the floor. Call the owner again and agrees that new bed spreads are to be used. The front door has cob webs and leaf debris around the door. Every closet in the unit has some type of building material stored in it. The main coat closet can not be used at all, due to the closet is full of paint, ladders, blankets, etc. The lack of water pressure in the master bath makes the shower unusable. Contacted the owner about a new shower head and never received a response. There is now no dresser in the master bedroom, as the picture online shows. There are two double beds in the other bedroom, but there are no box springs. The mattresses are on a metal frames with springs, and are not comfortable at all. The maximum number of sleeping spaces is 6 not 8 as advertised. The dishwasher door cannot fully open because of the stove. You need to open the stove door first and then open the dishwasher door to pull out the shelves. The Shorewalk development is nice and kept up nicely. If the only concern is price, then this is the place for you. Talked with other vacationers and all said how beautiful there units were.

Good but could be better

Excellent location in lovely surrounding neighborhood with Publix nearby and access to roads very good; condo nicely done-BUT TVs a disaster with old tube TV in Master BR and no remote to even access it; TV in guest BR not even hooked up; TV in living room hard to use. And absolutely NOTHING in this condo! No coffee filters, no salt & pepper; limited TP; no dishwasher detergent; on & on! This was the most sparsely equipped ever of the dozens of VRBO rentals we have used. It's a shame as very minimal investment in useful supplies would make all the difference in the world. So if you don't mind going next door to Publix to stock the place then I would recommend. TVs have to be fixed though!

The property was furnished very nice and very clean. Upon arrival, the air conditioning was not working properly. We reached out to the property manger and they immediately responded and sent a technician to repair. We really enjoyed our time here and hope to return soon.
