Venture 2.5 miles to find yourselves at the heart of the vibrant coastal town, with its many colourful shops, eateries and traditional British seaside attractions. Lace up your boots and stride off on a 2.5-mile coastal walk to Hengistbury Head, with its rugged landscape and abundance of wildlife. Prepare a picnic and venture 6 miles to the fringes of the New Forest National Park. Here, you will find a myriad of leafy trails to follow and a wealth of splendid beauty spots. Look out for the roaming ponies as you go. Plan a trip to the National Trust’s impressive Italianate mansion at Kingston Lacy, 16 miles away.

Pull up into your designated parking space so you can unload your luggage easily right beside your front door. Enter the apartment to emerge in a bright, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can unpack the tasty provisions you have brought with you and put some wine to chill in the fridge. Find you have everything you need right here to assist you in your self-catering. Slide open the glass door to bring in a sea breeze as you cook. Sit down to holiday meals together at the elegant dining table. Make fresh coffee in the machine and carry it over to the plush sofa to sip in front of the Smart TV. When you are ready to retire for the night, meander through to the comfortable bedrooms. These include a welcoming double and a twin with zip-and-link beds that can also be made up as a super-king-size by prior discussion. The family bathroom offers the choice of a bath or a shower.

Unfortunately, there is no dedicated outside space with this apartment, but there is a bench to the front of the property where you can sit and watch the world go by. There is parking for one car and space for you to secure your cycles, surfboards and other equipment in the shared storage room.
