Walk down memory lane
I had lived in this very apartment back inthe eatly 80s. It was funny to stay there again especially with how cute and nice it is. The space was perfect for my visit and was much better than staying at a local hotel. I wouldnt hesitate to stay again.

✓Comfy bed ✓Secure building ✓Tentative and friendly hosts ✓Good Value vs Hotel ✓Climate comfortable (AC) ✓Parking limited/Be aware- no elevator to this 3rd floor studio/Very small bathroom space/No dishwasher/No microwave. Overall this studio apartment is comfy for a couple and for a short term stay. Very close to shopping and downtown activity.

Rail explorers stay
We came to do the rail explorers and this rental was close by. It was perfect for what we needed. Ames is close by and offered a bit more city life and the near-by state park offered hiking trails. The rental was clean, quiet, safe, had everything we needed.

Communication was very easy with Dixy prior to us arriving. The apartment was exactly as listed, older, but with a lot of wonderful character! It was centrally, located to everything which made it easy for us to walk anywhere that we wanted to go in downtown Boone. Highly recommend.!!

Nice place
Unique experience. This is a nice, historical place; fresh paint and cleaning stairways would make it even more welcoming. Love the creaky, old wood floors and trains were drowned out by a/c. Walking distance to good bbq and bakery. Would stay again and appreciate letting my dogs stay!!
