Place was as described. Very clean and easy check in process. 24min drive to the Appalachian Ski Mountain which made for very easy access for our 3 day ski trip. The hot tub was a nice relaxation spot after a long day of skiing. Definitely would stay here again.

Lovely Cabin

We had the most amazing stay at Frances' cabin and couldn’t be more thrilled with our experience! The cabin was immaculately clean, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Accessing the cabin was a breeze, and it was conveniently located close to all the places we wanted to explore, which made our trip even more enjoyable.We were lucky to have good weather during our stay, but we feel confident that if it had snowed or iced over, the cabin would have still been incredibly easy to reach. The hot tub was an absolute highlight – such a relaxing way to unwind after a day of adventure!Overall, we loved everything about our stay here and will definitely return for another getaway. Highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful, easy-access mountain retreat!

Wonderful graduation weekend at Frances' cabin

Frances' cabin was exactly as described and as photographed. It was clean , cozy and comfortable. The wood workmanship done in this cabin was masterfully done. The view outside sitting on the rocking chairs was very peaceful. We met the owner and had an enjoyable conversation with him and learned about the history of the cabins. We would definitely come here again.

Very Nice

We loved the cabin and how clean it was. We especially enjoyed watching the cows from the front porch and grilling out on the back patio. Our son loved the little creek and riding his back in the grass. My personal favorite was relaxing in the hot tub at night. My only complaint is the inside tap water had a metallic smell but that’s of no fault to the owners.

Lovely cabin!

This was one of the cleanest and most comfortable cabins we have stayed in. Our family comes up every year and this is a favorite so far over the 10 years. Rural setting but so close to grocery and close enough to have delivery services and ride shares available. About 20 minutes to Appalachian ski resort. Chris was very communicative and we received a list of everything they provided beforehand, making for easy packing. Highly recommend!

The Frances only had two beds and an air mattress we found out after we arrived. The Owner was gracious enough to move us to another cabin since we were all older women and would have a problem with getting off an air mattress. The new cabin was absolutely wonderful and we are thinking to make this a yearly trip at the same cabin.
