'Overall a very pleasant experience. Enjoyed the geothermal pool, staff were friendly and helpful. Had fun at the bar with pool tables and enjoyed playing pickleball in their very clean facility. Breakfast was so good at the restaurant. Enjoyed every bite. The Motel needs some remodeling. They were fixing the deck when we arrived. Could use improvements. The walls were pretty thin so it was hard to sleep. I recommend this place but will want to rent a private cabin next time. Enjoyed our stay. '

'We stayed here for the nostalgia, it’s been 25 years since we came to the Thunderbird and it didn’t disappoint! I’m pretty sure the pool was closed then too - but we weren’t there to swim and it’s not advertised as having a pool. We just enjoyed the humor of it all. The room was clean and the guy who checked us in was friendly. If you’re looking for luxury, then pay quadruple the price and stay elsewhere! The Thunderbird Motel is a gem, an absolute classic and for the price, I have zero...
